I am so tired of this c*nt.

Moving?

Touching?

She is Dale Bozzio without an iota of talent. She is a name ripped from a failed Queen radio anthem. And she is now venturing into Madonna territory with her gushing and martyrdom about how she was never accepted - in black and white even.

Truth or Dare, anyone?!?

This is no better than Carlos Mencia dropping a Cosby joke.

Stern needs to quit watching American Idol and working more than three days a week. This interview was pretentious and embarrassing.

When it's just her, her voice and her piano, she's very enjoyable to listen to. I wish she'd make an album of just her and the piano.

Papparazi

Poker face

Adele.

Let's step up and get this stuttering horse offstage.

I've always enjoyed her videos cause they were fun, creative and catchy. But the first time I've seen her perform was on the Jonathan Ross show. She had a funky costume, then sat down and belted out a tune on the piano and sang. It was great.
Gaga understands she's an entertainer-the wild costumes and fancy dancing are memorable, but at the end of the day she delivers on the music.

That being said, she behold let someone else play the piano so she can concentrate on the singing. Guys like Bruce horsby, Billy Joel and Elton John know how to do both so the performance is smoother.

I would penis him

eyehate,

Yeah, and your dad didn't think that Freddie Mercury and Elton John were real musicians 'coz they wore strange clothes.

And your grandaddy cursed Elvis because he was nothing but a hip-swinger for loose women.

Some people are flashy. Deal with it.

Meh, it was OK. Sounded like open mic night at the coffee shop. Pink, on the other hand, is a surprisingly good singer when she's not doing pop music.

I guess I should try the link after work.. I really don't know what she sounds like.

2011-07-21 07:08:24 AM
I thought she sounded pretty good. Yeah, the echo effect is on, but she'shiatting the notes and her voice is strong.

Didn't care for the song, though. Bit repetitious. The full-on dance version, which I heard for the first time at a bar last night, is hideous.

I was on edge, of sanity..amirght?
No really, "This songs about my grandfather 'take me home tonight, wash shoe, wash shoe, im on the edge, the edge, the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge..wash shoe wash shoe, The edge the edg..'.
She has a voice, i give her that, but that song sucked balls.
It felt like she was winging most of that mess, and needed Charley to play her off stage...

LOL! Let me rephrase..."she is hitting the notes...."

I don't get it, either. She's an average bar pianist & singer. It's Aristotelian -- the flash and spectacle hides the mediocrity.

2011-07-21 07:22:43 AM
Ah, another performance from the singing horse. Mr. Ed would be proud of all the barriers she's broken for others of her ilk.

2011-07-21 07:27:16 AM
Well we know unfortunate black men and The Rock would like this performance, am I right?

2011-07-21 07:29:07 AM
She's always been able to play the piano well and sing decently, look at this video from 2005 before the weirdness:
Link (new window)

Unfortunately, performers like that are a dime a dozen. You can't make it in the music industry unless your weird or controversial. Look at katy perry (hudson), she used to be a christian singer, then she does a lesbian kiss song to gain traction.

Notice, im tired, and watched family guy 'Star Wars' last night..

But really, what the hell is "Wash shoe"? Was/is it the sound made while walking, on the EDGE with her grandfather before they had sex..ohhh..
eeeeuuu..No wonder she is messed up, wearing dick shoes, walking in penis healed shoes. She is a sex abuse victim, and is calling out to the world for help.
Why wont you help her, WHY wont you help her?
Maybe, if you help her, she'll shut the hell up.......
The edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edgethe edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge ...

Go listen to Adele.

Not liking her is fine, but lying about her lacking talent is childish. i don't like Beyonce but i can admit she has great pipes (and a better rack and ass).

Grow up.

MDGeist: I just want to see her naked.

its not difficult to find...hell Egotastic has pics every other week.(though they claim 'oh it's hideous, don't click).

Was ready to dismiss her till I saw her on a piano...Think she's the bee's knee's..and I am a 42 yr old STRAIGHT man...and her body is bangin

2011-07-21 08:34:47 AM
The lady can play a piano and doesn't need auto tune to sing. It may not be your style of music, but she defnitely has talent. Too bad if you can't handle that fact.

2011-07-21 08:35:24 AM
You know... You watch her play the piano and move as she sings, you hear something like passion in her voice (the song was dreadful IMO but her voice really was quite good), and you wonder how she'd do given some classics, given something that would REALLY put her pipes and cords to the test. She looks happy while she plays the piano and just sings, like giving an artist a brush or pencil and all the canvas/paper they could want.

It's a pity she feels she needs to do all the bullshiat she does. I wonder how she'd be if she focused on her singing and her music instead of all those shiatty clothes and foolish performances.

2011-07-21 09:02:49 AM
The song doesn't really hit you unless you heard the story she told before singing the song---about her dying grandfather in the the hospital. His wife of 60+ years not leaving his side for fear of losing him forever and Gaga telling her grandma to leave because grandpa won't die knowing his wife is watching due to his Italian ego and pride. Hours after Grandma left his side, Grandpa dies alone.
If you didn't hear the interview and how she personalized the song to the situation, then you're not going to...whatever
/I guess you had to be there
/not a Gaga fan but was touched by the story and her singing
/haters!

I'm fairly certain that the extensive reverb on her voice makes this pretty much not "unplugged."

My dad died at 47 when a vein in his head exploded -- completely without warning. The last time I saw him we had a fight about something stupid and I left without even saying goodbye.

Does that make the music I wrote after he died "touching" to strangers? No, it doesn't. So don't assume people are "haters" because they couldn't care less about this woman, her family or her songs.

Personally, I can't stand attention whores who participate in "show business". I can't stand "entertainers" with their "look at me ways". That's why I never support artist who perform on stages in front of people (with lights, no less). I only support musicians who sing alone in their bathrooms performing in front of no one, because only they have not compromised their true artistic vision.

And the fact that her fans are so insistant to remind the world every freaking minute, and the fact that she thinks shes the second coming of christ is why we are rapidly getting fed up with her shiat

and this is still average piano bar music you could see in any city

Wow, I realize this is Fark, and the snark levels are often quite high, but the venom spewed at Lady Gaga is just unbelievable at times. It's like she gets on a plane every morning and personally pisses in some Farker's cornflakes wherever they are in the country.

Her talent is undeniable... anybody claiming she has none is a pure idiot. She has a schtick, which works for her and her target audience, and sells millions of albums and downloads. She has a sense of humor, admitting she's a fan of Weird Al and pleased he's parodying her act and songs on his latest album. She's a butterface... sure... and her act makes the most of that by drawing attention away from it. In other words, she's being smart, and apparently, even worse in the eyes of her haters, she's not a drug addicted whore, WTF is wrong with you people?

You don't have to like her act, but to be so obsessed with hating her just isn't healthy.

/All that said, her music isn't my thing, but I don't live under a bridge with an anti-Lady Gaga shrine plastered to a wall, waiting for the next Fark thread to lambaste her.
