She dove completely the wrong way, it was a bad read of the attacker, and I've played and watched soccer for 20 years kthx.

Then you should know the speed at which those plays develop and that from 6 yards out, after watching your defenders fall down, the goalkeeper has absolutely no chance to react to the shot. There was no opportunity to "read the attacker," she was RIGHT in front of the goal. That's like saying that the japanese goalkeeper did a poor job reading Abby Wambach's header from the same distance out.

Were your 20 years spent watching 6 year olds play? Cause that's your basic understanding of the game.
