FWIW, I do agree with people saying this should not be relegated to a game of kickball, even though we have the advantage there. Been there done that, play soccer.

I remember about 10 years ago when some WTA championship in Spain went best of 5 instead of 3. They wre having a hard time returning serve and Bud something was all, "this is disgusting."
And I thought, "no, this is epic. It's ok if athletes get tired. Because they're athletes."
they've never done it since.

In addition to that, World Cup soccer is endlessly hyped by the WWL that is ESPN, the 800lb Gorilla of sports broadcasting in the US.

If someone doesn't hear about this team if they win the World Cup they should perhaps rethink their decision to live in a cave.

They can, but almost never do. Usually the only time you see the keeper out of the box is on a last-second corner kick or free kick, the keeper will sometimes charge up the field to get another attacker in the box, but they never fully substitute for the keeper like they do in hockey.
