We don't know about the rivalries, and it's hard to tell who we should care about. But with these kind of more international games, with one nation's team going up against another, best against the best, that changes the entire dynamic.

Swoop1809: I dont know how much I like Rapinoe being the starter. Now we really dont have much of a spark off the bench besides Morgan if we get complacent like we did in the last game.

That's a lot of respect for Japan's midfield. They've certainly earned it. We are gonna make their defense be involved with possession and play the counter it would seem.

STILL? You were looking for teams to root for back in the World Cup! Barca = Red Sox, Real Madrid = Yankees. Or you could be a hipster and root for Xerez, since you're close.
