Fun fact: one of the editors behind the phone hacking of murdered children and victims of the London bombings now works for David Cameron. This is an absolutely epic clusterfark.

this and i mean prosecute his ass. go after him too. not jail, but money. fine him something like 200 million and restrict his media "empire"

thing is we no longer have freedom of press as the press it self is not at all concerned with any facts. it's all about pushing political agendas and products. facts are the absolute last though. it's all about selling you something and when it's not advertisement that is called propaganda.

modern media is far more dangerous than it should be. it wants the strike chords with your mammalian presets and bank off the reactions. we don't need a court to persecute anymore, our modern media does this very very well. informing the people is one thing, but that is not what we have here nor is it what we strive for.

You're not quite right here. When you realize that we consumers are the product that media is selling to its advertisers, everything falls into place.
