I think I'll hold out for his 1991 clothing line.

Does he have custom jock straps?

2011-07-05 11:26:36 AM

Beck is still doing a TV show just not for FOX, he bought a cable station & doing a lot of online crap which you can stream for the low low price of 5.00 a month.

/who the hell would pay anybody $5 a month for crap you can see online for free.

2011-07-05 11:27:41 AM
FTFA: He plans on donating some percentage of profits from the sales of the clothes to families in need after natural disasters and other causes.

Well, 0 is a percentage, I guess.

More power to him. Opponents of government welfare have long shown themselves to be strong proponents and large contributors to private charity. It's good to see Beck put his money where his mouth is.

I really do get a kick out the Glenn Beck hate around here. He's an entertainer doing a show with the Howard Stern effect. The people who hate him spend the most amount of time listening.

If this person on the radio angers you so much then stop listening.

2011-07-05 11:31:19 AM
And so the clothing will actually have things all over inside the clothing to remind you of -- to go back and be who you are supposed to be.

Well in 1791 I was supposed to be a southern slave-driving land owner...

The skull and bones clearly belong to the young wench that Glenn's great-great-great-great grandfather, Obidiah Beck, violated and murdered in 1791.

/However, as she was one of those damnable Irish, Obidiah was fined three farthings and placed in the Stocks for an hour. And so Justice was done.

Lotsa money to be made by making idiots feel special.

And lotsa different ways to go about it.

I, personally, wouldn't want to handle any money that had been where his mouth was.
I don't know where that mouth's been.
But I have my suspicions.

There's already a 1791 clothing line... they make "firearm inspired" t-shirts.

2011-07-05 11:44:37 AM
I don't see how this will work out. His listeners aren't like liberals who are willing to shell out a little more for a product whose proceeds go to charity. Besides, unless WalMart carries his line of clothes, how will his followers be able to purchase it?

I hate him and I don't watch one single minute of the show. The difference between Howard Stern and Glenn Beck is Howard Stern doesn't have Media Matters.

So...we're ALL supposed to look like Joseph Smith, Jr. ? Not that I have anything against retro, but I think this might be a stretch. And he wasn't even born until 1805.

I think his straight jacket will be a huge hit.

After all, made by crazies for the crazies.

LOL. That's the first thing that came to my mind.

Will the clothing be made of hemp like the Founding Fathers grew?

1791? Isn't that the year in which that girl was raped and murdered?

But what about the name? Beck told Bill O'Reilly, "That's when the Bill of Rights happened. [We] need to go back to the original blueprint.

I know this is semi-rhetorical, but; Is he high?
(1)By the very fact that the Bill of Rights is a set of farking amendments, that means they cannot, by any stretching of the definition, be an "original blueprint", since they are modifying something that pre-dates them, i.e the main boy of the Constitution.
(2)The Constitution itself was a second shot at running the US. Again, you cannot be the "original blueprint" if you are a mulligan

Magua took the shirt to color it with wine. It is still white. Only when it is red, then it will be laundered.
