That's one of the things that makes Universal Studios FL cooler. They would embrace something like "Flash Mountain".

Now if Disneyland had a secret brothel where you could bang the Princesses, that would be something.

solokumba: How many times a year does George Lopez go to Disney?

I don't know about per year, but I do have photographic evidence that he visited at least one Disney park once.
More than that is just speculation.

When I went without the kids, that Club 33 place was jammed, so we just kept going back to California Adventure. They have a beer truck right out in the open.

Anybody know anything interesting about club 33?

9. Walt Disney's head really IS frozen and Disney has a massive team dedicated to perpetuating the myth that he wasn't.

Walt Disney built the club as a secret hideaway for dignitaries and celebrities

It takes about 10 years to get off the waiting list

10 years to get on the waiting list, really? I'd think after 10 years most celebrities that applied would be yesterday's news and no longer "important people".

2011-07-02 11:32:05 AM
There was a website where you could see the flashers but unfourtunately I can't remember the website.

I actually thought about doing this back in '96 (applying for membership), but at the time I think the membership dues were really high (I heard they're around 3 grand now) - and I distinctly recall thinking to myself, "No way would I ever have that much extra money to just join a club".

Now I kinda wish I had done it... kinda.

What!? No Tinker bell Strip clubs? Minnie Mouse bondage studios? I feel gypped that the perverts don't get real things and only quick flashes on Splash Mountain. I demand more!

A good friend of mine got to have lunch at Club 33. He said it was one of those experiences that he will only forget when he is dead or senile. I am still very jealous.

My buddy did it because he goes to Disneyland about once a month and he's crazy about mint juleps.

You can also just take the Monorail over to Disneyland Hotel and have some drinks at their bar.

The 10 year wait list is for us "little people", real celebs, politicians and the ultra rich get head of the line privileges as always.

Actually, they closed the waiting list some time ago. The problem, is that they let corporations hold memberships and they are the big ones. Unless some of the top California and West Coast businesses go under, I doubt they will ever give them up and the waiting list is pretty much stalled.

Yes, lots ... too much, actually.

mmmm, I don't think we're talking about the same place. Jammed? Doubt it.

Yeah but if you're a drunk like me, you'd have to take out a mortgage on your house just to get a buzz. It's a lot easier to smuggle in some hooch.

Unless you're a wine connoisseur or something gay like that,

alright...someone needs to start spilling the beans on this club 33. what? Is it like some exclusive club you go into and they have disney princesses in cages dancing?

It's actually pretty reasonable when compared to country clubs and the like. I can definitely see using it for corporate hobnobbing if you're not a golfer or you're entertaining non-golfers.

I knew six of those. Old news is, in fact, old news.

The advantage: now we know where the torches and pitchforks go.

How would you know it was packed? Unless you are a member or with a member of Club 33 you cannot even get past the front door.

2011-07-02 11:58:39 AM
I haven't been to Club 33, but a friend works for a company that has a membership and she's been there a few times. It's really just a nice restaurant, that serves alcohol, inside the park. As the article states, it's decorated in a New Orleans motif.

Actually, speaking as a Disney freak;

No.
