Dammit! That was close to the headline I was going to submit!

I guess you could say that Funnel Cloud took Churchill Downs by storm?

Yeah I live in that neighborhood. No damage to my property thankfully, but there are some horse barns that are got KTFO.

I saw that particular funnel pop back into the sky from about a mile out yesterday. A few minutes later there was a bit of debris falling out of the sky around me. Closest I've ever been to one, and don't feel like ever being closer.

You didn't find any tack hanging in your trees this morning did you?

Hi! We ended up my mom's place about three blocks from the track last night because I couldn't get to my place. We live just off Southern Pkwy. between the track and Iroquois Park. That was some scary shiat last night, no?

Funnel Cloud roars to the front of the pack at the 3/4 pole and takes Churchill Downs, well, down.

Funnel Cloud is a great name for a horsey.

And as of 6pm EDT, four, FOUR ah-ah-ah tornados confirmed in Louisville Metro--three of 'em in the J-town area.

So far, two EF-2s (the one that hit Churchill Downs' stables being one of them, though it was just EF-1 at that point) and two EF-1s...

And those things came out of NOWHERE, too...it was all "la la la TORNADO WARNING WHAT THE FSCK" and then pretty much three hours of tornado warnings--VERY interesting listening on the Skywarn nets...
