i can say NO and i haven't even read the article yet...YET

2001-10-25 01:43:55 PM
Better question...

Was this reporter smoking some wacky tobacky?

McVeigh was an anti-government fanatic, nothing more nothing less. He had no connection with Iraq.

2001-10-25 01:44:51 PM
But if it's in Newsmax it MUST be true!

Natix: NewsMax says they're great.

2001-10-25 01:52:01 PM
The source, a "never-before-reported allegation that McVeigh had allegedly collected" gay porn. Or something like that.

Weak article.

2001-10-25 01:52:15 PM
What a retarded article.

2001-10-25 01:52:46 PM

Newsmax: It's good when you print out an article and are reading it on the toilet and notice there's no toilet paper.

2001-10-25 01:58:08 PM
why is news max stuff posted?

2001-10-25 02:04:15 PM
Well, You could consider that Tim Mcveigh HAS been to Iraq; He faught in the gulf war and killed a few soldiers. Maybe he made some friends while stationed there, explaining the phone numbers. Either way, it wasn't until a few years later that he developed his hatred of the government.

2001-10-25 02:05:06 PM

There's a conspiracy here most assuredly. The government either organized McVeighs actions or at least failed to prevent them, then utilized those actions for their own agenda.
Kind of funny, actually, how McVeigh suddenly develops ties to whatever group the government wants to kill at whatever point in time.

The nazi types were the BATF, FBI and Delta at Waco.
Regarding Tim's link to Arab terrorists, hell, that is common knowledge. The fact that the US gubbermint knew about it (and may have helped) is common as well.
That's why I have complete trust in the US government. hahhahahahhaha

and for all senses and purposes. I ripped off alot of my Bobo555 stuff from Muleracer. You know his site is gonna zoom to Fark when he gets one. You can't make up insanity like that, you can only plagerize it.

P.S.: shiat is not being started. Don't hit the delete button yet.

The last time I posted a link on Fark to FreeCon, they freaked out from an exodus and got Drew to take the link off.

No farking kidding. ;-)

No No No - you all missed the secret message!

Mc Veigh was the RING LEADER - he taught Bin Laden all about "collateral damage"...he organized the cells of people...

I agree - let's dig him up and kill him again!

It's News to the MAX. Dude.

McVeigh is the only one they caught in this whole disgusting mess. One of his co-conspirators was probably killed in the explosion (a leg with a military boot was found) and it definitely took more than one person to make the bomb. Iraqi? Doubt it. More than McVeigh involved. Definitely.

'I heard that the USA is droppin poison food to Afghanis. Bomb em at night and feed em by day......If anyone thinks that the USA is NOT droppin poison food, they are pretty naive'

'And this is a BAD thing?'

'And do you think for a second that the USA would hesitate to poison food being dropped into an enemy country?'

if he did have ties, he wouldn't have picked Oklahoma

This has been going on for over a year. I have heard this on some other news channels a while ago.

Robbie, the moderator actually agreed with my first statement, I'm getting kinda scared, maybe I'll change my name to JelloBoy and unleash the fury of anti-logic.

If McVeigh did have ties to Iraq, why would the US Govt. cover it up???
A)they would have an excuse to drop some more bombs on Sadam and B)it would take some of the sting out of the homegrown wacko stuff (ie- they could say he was a brainwashed expat, rather than a miltia kook)

I sincerely doubt McVeigh had ties with bin Laden or Iraq.

I mean, I've only seen him wear a tie in court but those had no pictures of any kind.

2001-10-25 02:57:40 PM
Hmmm...it's been reported that Saddam Hussein is also an avid cucumber fan. Coincidence?

Robbie, why not? That's what proxy servers and unlimited hotmail accounts are for. And I'm already crossing the line, one of the moderators told me to chill out.

Statusquo: and she is a bit of a moderate Conservative.

What is up with the new format on posts here?

2001-10-25 03:33:25 PM
This can't be NewsMax. They didn't blame Clinton for anything.

Plus, I think the editors at the 'Max think that the government watches them through cameras hidden in the eyes of squirrels. I'm amazed that half their HTML isn't written in crayon.

2001-10-25 03:45:59 PM
Bunch of shiate. He was a "super patriot" in the negative sense. Remember he was in the Persian Gulf War fighting, to quote him, "ragheads".
Quoting doesn't make one an operative of the person you are quoting.
I frequently quote Sun Tzu, Machiavelli, Bader-Meinhoff, several of the Founding Fathers of the US, and Publius Cornelius Tacitus from 70 A.D.

2001-10-25 03:48:54 PM
I gotta read NewsMax more often..I thought I was the only one afraid of Squirrel-eye cameras.

2001-10-25 03:49:02 PM
Hey, have yall seen the picture of McVeigh and bin Laden on the grassy knoll.

2001-10-25 03:52:58 PM
I thought they were saying a while back that Tim was motivated by some book which described how the "race war" would start and end. There was a big special on HBO about it, but I've never taken time to go and look at the book. Main reason being that my Library doesn't carry it since it is dubbed as "hate crime literature".

I would believe his motivations would be race, not religion, related. I mean, if it was religion based, he would have bombed an abortion clinic.... :P

He didn't want them to askii for an autopsy? Was he afraid they were going to cut off his ebcdic?

NewsMax is consistently the most ridiculous site linked to on fark. It took me all of two times looking at it to come to this conclusion. Haven't checked out this one yet, and have no plans to.

NewsMax should maybe be linked to on the slowest of news-weekends, otherwise give us something else... literally anything else, please.

2001-10-25 04:28:38 PM
It couldn't possibly just be that McVeigh was a right-winger. Nooo. That would make NewsMax look bad, er, worse.

2001-10-25 04:31:14 PM
Why are there so many 'second person' conspiracy theorys? Tim Mcveigh didn't work alone, he worked with Terry Nichols to make the bomb, and another person (whose name I have forgotten) who planned the bombing but bailed out. they're both in prison. so should't we have 'fourth person' theorys?

2001-10-25 04:35:45 PM
My favorite part:

"Conspiracy theorists in the Pentagon think it's part of a coverup."

Dude. What in the heLL kind of job is a "conspiracy theorist in the Pentagon"???
Seems to me the Pentagon does the covering-up of the conspiracies, not the theorizing about them.

Sounds like a consiracy to conspire against the conspirators to me.

I like how newsmax is also blaming west nile virus on iraq...
