I think it is a little showey for my tastes. Besides how will I know if a woman really loves me if I drive that car?
The million dollar price tag might also have something to do with it!

2003-08-24 07:08:26 PM
I thought about getting one of those - then I remembered that I already have a penis.

2003-08-24 07:28:15 PM
For me, it goes all the way through showey to goofy looking.

2003-08-24 09:26:16 PM
something it would be really bad to tap from behind at a red light....

holy sh|t!!

2003-08-24 11:38:46 PM
My car can go 200 mph possibly, but unfortunately it would have to be during a long vertical drop.

2003-08-24 11:43:09 PM
Inferiority problems nothing... this is for the guy with an inverted penis, right?

2003-08-24 11:59:10 PM
Wait, I missed it the first time... made by Volkswagen in the Bugatti division? Talk about Superbeetle!

I love the quote about the Germans being unhappy that the drive spun it out into the dirt. I'm guessing he'll never drive for Bugatti again.

Ferraris, at least around here, still turn my head, regardless of what the article says.

I saw two Aston Martins on separate occasions a few days ago, and there sure as heck isn't an Aston Martin dealership within 100 miles of Charleston, South Carolina.

Do you think he's compensating for something?

was that extra 1 horsepower really that neccessary?

2003-08-25 03:20:12 AM
this story is now being advertised on hotmail account home pages, with the hot headline "See a 250 mph street car"

Microsoft. We're not like Fox. When we're wrong, it because we're simply dumb, not lying.

2003-08-25 03:21:00 AM
holy crap

2003-08-25 03:23:13 AM
Aw, forget compensation remarks. This is an awesome car! Holy crap, that would be insanely fun to drive. But, yeah, make sure to keep the POS Taurus or Civic or whatever to make sure that the women are for real. Then, when they've proven themselves, break out the Veyron.

2003-08-25 03:23:35 AM
I wonder how it handles. If it's decent in the hills, I expect to see a few in my neighborhood.

Personally, I don't need to hand anyone an invitation to carjack me.

2003-08-25 03:23:44 AM
Where could you open a car like that up? (Anybody who says "the autobahns in Germany" has never driven them).

i would rather have a Vanquish.

Why does it have anything to do with penis size? I personally drive a motorcycle. The Street Sport kind, not a cruiser. And you know what? Its fun as hell to ride on my bike and feel it handle the road and go fast. I dont think I will get anymore play from women for having fun when I ride, but I do it anyways.

Fast cars with big engines apply in some cases to the same principal. They can be and are fun to drive. Its like being in a theme park ride on the way to work or where ever.

Yes, some guys might get things like this because they think it will make them cooler. But I can assure you, there are also some who get them because they are visually pleasing and fun to drive.

What makes this especially significant is that power requirements for speed is not linear, it's a parabola. Just as it takes quite a bit more than double power to go 120 mph than 60 mph, 1001 hp is low for a street-going car that doesn't look like a F1 Indy car that goes (claimed) 250 mph.

FYI, it takes only 15 to 25 hp for the typical brick-shaped sedan to cruise at 60 mph. It takes over triple that for 120, and that's cruising, not accelerating.

I will stick with my 400 hp 355 Berlinetta. I can't get near its limits anyways.

2003-08-25 03:30:10 AM
The front end is fugly, but I still want one.

2003-08-25 03:33:21 AM
Where can I go for test drive? "No saleman, I'll just go around the block..." Of COURSE now I'm gonna haul ass with you're fecking Bugatti, go ahead, try and catch me....

2003-08-25 03:34:25 AM
very nice car, if some one was to give me it id more then willing take it. but if i was to go out and buy a 1mil. car that sure wouldnt be it. id either go for the McLaren F1 or 2 saleen S7s (i think those things are like 500k a piece, i might be wrong though)

2003-08-25 03:36:04 AM
"I know, let's add an Edsel-style toilet seat ring to the front grill. Those NEVER go out of style!"

i would guarantee you someone would come here and say "Its a suped up Volkswagen, its a piece of shiat!"

2003-08-25 03:39:29 AM
It looks like an old Nike with a hole for your
toe to pop out of.

2003-08-25 03:41:54 AM
And like all other VWs, it will probably develop weird electrical problems and start eating through a quart of oil every 1000 miles.

POS.

2003-08-25 03:43:31 AM
you need a pure blood line to buy a Bugatti. I hear they do background checks to insure that you're worthy.

sorry farkers, but you are not going to get one any time soon - they're for a select few, (myself included) who measure up to the exacting standards (like the vehicle itself!) requiered to handle such superior machinery.

2003-08-25 03:45:06 AM
The elegant design pays tribute to original Bugatti designs and each car will be custom tailored to exactly the buyers specifications.

Really? shiat, I thought they'd mass produce this one, for sure. After all, if you haven't got a million bucks to spend on a car, you might as well not even drive.

2003-08-25 03:45:09 AM
The Cadillac 16 doesn't need quadro chargers to get 1000hp. It does it all balls, old school stlye.

She was my young, sexy fiancee. He was my
sexually virile best friend. And they just drove off in my
Bugatti Sexarossa. How could this ever have
happened?

For 1 million large, there better be a toilet seat built-in the drivers seat... you know.. so you can take a dump while driving.

2003-08-25 03:47:08 AM
Holy crap! That's a nice car! =)

2003-08-25 03:47:57 AM
Wouldn't a million bucks get you a P-51 Mustang? That would be something I would much rather have if it were my million to spend. You get to go 400+ MPH in three dimensions and there is no cops to give you a speeding ticket.

I'd say you could open one of those suckers up on I-80 in Nebraska or I-70 in Kansas. Cops wouldn't stand a chance against you in a chase. By the time they set up a roadblock further up the road, you'd be long gone.

2003-08-25 03:48:50 AM
Is it wrong for a man to love a car? Because baby, I don't want to be right.

2003-08-25 03:49:03 AM
If I had a few billion bucks to piss away, I'd buy one, even at the risk of having my penis size questioned by some online geeks who would probably give their spleen to drive it.

2003-08-25 03:49:47 AM
Like I said, it looks like an old Nike.

That and if you need a body guard to babysit it
while you go in to watch the movie, have dinner,
or go to the park to relax... then what's the point?

Sum total:

* It's a show car, you're not expected to "use" it.
* It looks like an old Nike... with a toe hole.

(kicks back, starts daydreaming about fast bicycles)

2003-08-25 03:50:09 AM
Befuddled instead of worrying about speed traps you have to worry about restricted airspace. Personally, I would take a speeding ticket before a SAM. Not to mention finding a parking space would be a nightmare...just imagine circling the block for hours on aviation-grade fuel...

2003-08-25 03:50:09 AM
I haven't been able to post a pic for a couple days..
Is there such a thing as 'partially banned'....?

2003-08-25 03:51:10 AM
Befuddled

The P-51 Mustang is mighty indeed, but I'd like to get my hands on a Messerschmitt 262. The world should count itself fortunate that the Germans didn't get those suckers airborne sooner.

2003-08-25 03:51:23 AM
Yeah enough with the penis size jokes already.

Anybody harpin on the penis size is just pissed because there are people out there that can afford the car and they can't.

It's nice.

Granted you could take a regular car, and make it run some pretty insane speeds for a lot less money then a million, but there's nothing wrong with having something flashy if you have the cash to do it.

So when did Ford come out with this new version of the Mustang? ...Does every Ford dealership sell this P-51 Mustang? ...or is it a special order, like the Saleen or Steeda?

/*note to self*... some dumbass won't get it.... *sigh*

2003-08-25 03:55:07 AM
I'd like to be a Fokker with a Messerschmidt too.
