So, is it just me or would you have to have never seen anything produced by a typewriter to interpret those 'variations' as anything other then different degrees of ink saturation?

These people are the typeface equivalent of the "engineers" who think 9/11 was a controlled demolition.

For this "expert" to judge anything he would have to have access to the original document and not a scanned copy of it. Given his political leanings, I truly doubt anyone would trust his "unbiased" opinion enough to let him analyze the typeface on Obama's turds. Let alone an official document.

2011-06-12 05:24:34 PM
As someone old enough to have used those blasted typewriters, I say it'd be impossible to make any two letters look exactly identical. You had letters on the end of a stalk that struck down against a ribbon with various amount of force, the ribbon's ink was never even, and the paper would even move about slightly as it was being hammered by the keys.

Why doesn't Blastingcap Hubbabubba Fartblimpo just address this issue, resign the presidency, and appoint Sarah Palin as Princess America? That's all he has to do to clear up this blatant forgery by a pair of clairvoyant parents who somehow knew during the Jim Crow 60s that their mulatto child would run for president 46 years after he was born.

Why is he ignoring this issue? I'm very concerned.

I understand that this a very profitable business for some people. Almost everytime I made the mistake of clicking on WND-link I found an article that was just a purely disguised advertisement for their latest book about contrails, creationism, bible-codes or some other idiocy of the month. I am not sure, but I think some of the same methods that are employed by scientology are used to put these books in the bestseller lists. Whatever convoluted business model they actually use somebody must be making money of this or they would not keep doing it.

I am just curious how many of these 'books' actually end up being read by the people that buy them and how many just end up on bookshelves declaring patriotism like some bumper sticker.

I once found a GREAT website which showed the changes over time for citizenship in the US.
cant find it again, so we get wikipedia, which still works

Title 8 U.S.C. § 1409 paragraph (c) provides that children born abroad after December 24, 1952 to unmarried American mothers are U.S. citizens, as long as the mother has lived in the U.S. for a continuous period of at least one year at any time prior to the birth.

Link (new window)

so obama's mother was an american, who had lived in the US for more than 1 continuous year of her life, therefore obama is a us citizen no matter where he was born or lived.

strange how LAWS confuse tards

actualhuman: So, is it just me or would you have to have never seen anything produced by a typewriter to interpret those 'variations' as anything other then different degrees of ink saturation?

There's that and there's also the fact that some of variations can be attributed to the human factor.

Ie: Put in the known quantities (like the hospital he was born in) first, and keep a blank spot for the name until it's actually chosen.

Christ, it took my mother two months to decide on a name for me. It's not like any sort of waiting document would just be left blank in case she wanted to decide I was born in a different hospital, too.

better yet, if obama's being born overseas excluded him from being a "natural born" citizen but still be a us citizen (which is even more batshiat, but go with me), then mccain's being born in panama excludes him from being a "natural born" citizen also.

therefore, neither men were eligble for election, bwhahahahahahahaha

"Typewriters in 1961 could not change the size and shape of a letter on the fly like that," he said. "This document is definitely a forgery."

Hmm, when I read that I expect something like Helvetica and Times New Roman inexplicably mixed together. Call me crazy, but I would think you're talking about actual different typefaces, not letters that look almost the same but for them being inked and smudged a little different from being typed on a farking 1960 typewriter and then scanned into a digital document. I know, I'm weird.

It is not the original document. It was scanned and digitally recreated. Hence, the layers. That probably also explains the irregularities with the typeface. Is the information accurate. No way to know from this scan. We just have to trust that it is accurate.

Yeah, as soon as the birth certificate was released, she said something along the lines of it being a "positive first step" but that he was still ineligible due to the fact that his father wasn't a US citizen. She believes that "natural born citizen", legally, means that you were not only born in the US, but both of your parents were as well.

You know, the differences between the Cons and the Libs these days seems to go beyond disagreeing on facts. As a Lib, I think modern Con stances are often outright insane, and some if not most of the Con leadership is borderline evil, in a "fark the country, where's my money" sense. The Cons seem to believe the same thing about Libs.

How is it so much of the population is diametrically opposed, that both major parties are so sure the other is wrong and/or crazy and/or evil? There's a disturbing psychological issue here somewhere. Facts seldom change people's minds on important political issues, and at least one study showed that proving someone wrong will make them argue harder and reinforce their belief. How many ppl have you seen arguing in the Political tab that seem to ignore facts and argue the same viewpoint in thread after thread? I can't believe they're ALL paid shills.

I don't see this issue being solved anytime soon. I would've thought that high-speed travel, telephones, televisions and radios would have made for a more homogenous mindset by now, but instead it only brings us together more easily to argue. I mean, differing opinions are going to occur, and it's good to entertain differing perspectives, but this is like half of the country is living in a different reality than the other half. It makes me sad for our future.

2011-06-12 07:06:15 PM
Birthers will believe anything that "fits" their worldview. This entire issue has been total crap from Day 1, and most people with half a brain know that.

"Obama's ruining the economy! Look at this--"

Suddenly the Birthers are back, in full force....

Apparently some "investigator" got ahold of the President's SSN and ran some sort of "check" demonstrating that Harrison J. Bounel (who apparently has the "same number") lived at the same address 3 years later than President Soetero did. Therefore they are the same person. Furthermore, as you can plainly see, Bounel's gender is marked as "U," meaning "Universal"--so the President is actually a hermaphrodite disguised as male, which explains his "metrosexuality," as well as his secret origins from the mythic state of "Connecticut," a euphemism coded in H.P. Blavatsky's "Isis Unveiled" as being one of several monikers for the lost continent of Atlantis.

I just looked at the PDF version the White House released in Photoshop. All letters are different as you would expect from a manual typewriter depending on the force of the key-strike and are consistent in size. What WND seems to have done is taken one letter, like Capital "E" and of the four used take the lightest strike and the hardest strike and put them next to each other and yelled "AHA!" If you line all four up the clearly come the same machine.

The quality of the digital original is awful, I mean awful. Why they use a printed version not the digital original is beyond me. WND says they have a hard copy of a printed version handed to the press of this which can only add to variation.

That's the new argument? For an attorney, Oily really has no idea how citizenship laws work.

Yeah, as soon as the birth certificate was released, she said something along the lines of it being a "positive first step" but that he was still ineligible due to the fact that his father wasn't a US citizen. She believes that "natural born citizen", legally, means that you were not only born in the US, but both of your parents were as well.

I have to wonder if we've had any other presidents who had at least one immigrant parent.

Both of Andrew Jackson's parents were Irish immigrants. If Orly Taitz wants to be logically consistent, she should claim that he was ineligible to the president too.

The latter is just something to attack him for being the former.

if he was white, it would be something else.

actualhuman: So, is it just me or would you have to have never seen anything produced by a typewriter to interpret those 'variations' as anything other then different degrees of ink saturation?

weave: As someone old enough to have used those blasted typewriters, I say it'd be impossible to make any two letters look exactly identical. You had letters on the end of a stalk that struck down against a ribbon with various amount of force, the ribbon's ink was never even, and the paper would even move about slightly as it was being hammered by the keys.

I had to learn to type on a manual typewriter, and anyone who bases an argument on an assumption that letters will be identical on the same sheet, in the same word, or even two letters right together is an absolute moron. On a manual typewriter, you could type "TTTTTTT" and come up with seven different looking T's. As a matter of fact, if the T's were identical it would be evidence of some kind of fraud. Autograph experts actually count on pressure points with a pen being different in order to authenticate an autograph, since a consistent line all the way through a signature is almost a sure sign of someone tracing it.

If President Obama's certificate has all of these typeface inconsistencies then surely other birth certificates from that era can be shown that do not have those inconsistencies... correct?

In the past I posted in favor of President Obama releasing his birth certificate. Now that he has done that it would take substantial evidence for me to believe that he is not a natural born citizen.

If you Google my past posts you'll see that I always assumed he was a U.S. citizen but I found it strange that he had not released the live birth certificate. Apparently Trump was the catalyst necessary to make that happen. One of the few good things the man's political presence did for politics.

Not sure what the hell you're talking about. To get on the ballots for the Presidential election, he would have proved to the State Secretaries of State that he was eligible by sending them certified copies of his birth certificate. He made another copy available to the press (the copy which can be seen at Factcheck.org) once questions were raised about where he was born.

He satisfied all legal requirements. He satisfied the press. It's only the 23% percenters like yourself who weren't satisfied.

Actually, what he said was that he had traveled to "fifty......seven states with one more." He had, in fact, traveled to FORTY seven states with one more to go in the continental US. So, he went to say "fifty states" realized that he had only traveled to all but one of the continental states and went to change it but missed changing the fifty to forty.

The mysterious financer of 'radical madrassas' and the 'Ground Zero mosque' is the second-largest shareholder in Fox News? Bill Ayers blew up a statue in Chicago in 1969 and Obama met him, possibly twice!

Mark D. Siljander (R-Mich.) was convicted of obstruction of justice and acting as an unregistered foreign agent related to his work for an Islamic charity with ties to international terrorism? Bill Ayers blew up a statue in Chicago in 1969 and Obama met him, possibly twice!

The Fellowship Foundation, also known as "The Family", figured prominently in both Gov. Mark Sanford's and Sen. John Ensign's scandals? Bill Ayers blew up a statue in Chicago in 1969 and Obama met him, possibly twice!

Republican-oriented lobbying firm, Barbour, Griffith & Rogers (BGR), worked on behalf of Qatar, as well as Al-Jazeera, and yes the "Barbour" in BGR is Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour? Bill Ayers blew up a statue in Chicago in 1969 and Obama met him, possibly twice!

Peter King, the Republican who seized the national spotlight with a hearing on the radicalization of American Muslims, was a fervent supporter of the Irish Republican Army terrorist group responsible for killing civilians? Bill Ayers blew up a statue in Chicago in 1969 and Obama met him, possibly twice!

It's at least plausible, and I'd say likely, that the hospital would pre-fill fields that weren't going to change.

Since it's a typed document, they must be suggesting that it was typed on a few dozen different typewriters, when it would be far simpler to get ahold of an old selectric and type it all on the same one. Building a photoshopped composite would be utterly obvious, since a modern printer doesn't etch the paper the same way as a typewriter. Anyone with a slight degree of competency would notice on inspecting the physical document.

It would be easy enough to prove by checking someone else's Hawaii colb and seeing if it has the same problems. Now that we know the things do exist and any Hawaiian can get their original, just find another Hawaiian born in 61 and you'll have your answer.

SPECIAL ONE-DAY OFFER: GET "WHERE'S THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE" FOR ONLY $4.95! OFFER ENDS TONIGHT AT 10 P.M. AND IS VALID IN THE U.S. ONLY.

And yes, it still automatically bills you for a magazine subscription if you don't cancel, which is bad enough with a normal subscription price, let alone a $40 one.

Important: For this very special $4.95 offer, you will receive "Where's the Birth Certificate" as well as three free issues of Whistleblower magazine. Also included with your free issues will be a renewal notice for a one-year Whistleblower subscription. If you wish to renew, do nothing, and your credit or debit card will be charged the discounted annual renewal rate of only $39.95. (There's no risk, because at any time you can cancel your subscription for a full refund on the unused portion.) If you don't want to renew, simply cancel by calling 1-800-4WNDCOM (800-496-3266) or by emailing canceltrial-WB[nospam-﹫-backwards]dnw*com before the charge date printed on the renewal card you'll receive. Either way, the book and the 3 free issues are yours to keep. (Only one copy of "Where's the Birth Certificate" at this price per household. Offer good with credit card purchase only, and only in the U.S.)

Pretty good idea - their target audience is full of people who will forget to cancel or aren't very good with that electronic interweb.

Not sure why I am still receiving two subscriptions but the Soros issue is fantastic. Keep it coming but PLEASE, do away with non primary colors for text!!! The Santa Fe pallette is just not legible to most of your base who are in their 60s or older...

I must apologize since as on old-timer with 'challenged' eyesight, I could not read the light blue font on white page. I'm sure it was as excellent as I have found your Whisleblower magazine, but I just couldn't read it. The issue on Soros is beyond being excellent! It provides a picture of a Hitler with a bank book, instead of a pistol.

Perhaps someone will have to decide whether the layout should be pretty or readable?

The president is still black, I see. That must be tough for the "conservatives".

Huh. Almost like they're afraid of writing in black for some reason.
