Who would do such a thing besides terrorists? I mean, Clinton's practically an idol for Americans!

I always thought Clinton would get Hepatitis first.

2001-10-25 12:19:40 PM
Was it tainted DNA.

2001-10-25 12:20:36 PM
Actually, the pizza guy was just REALLY REALLY late...

2001-10-25 12:20:56 PM
Salmonella? They should get those two women who did "Mommies" and those dishwashing liquid commercials to come clean up instead of a hazmat team. Not only will they clean up the contaminants, but it they'll leave a flower-fresh scent behind.

2001-10-25 12:25:40 PM
Well, it just shows that some of Clinton's most extreme critics are idiots. Salmonilla? That's like trying to put an explosive payload on a model rocket and expecting to bring down a building.

2001-10-25 12:26:32 PM
I suspect Vince Foster is sending the packages from beyond the grave.

2001-10-25 12:28:45 PM
billy - wash those hands after handling those things!!

2001-10-25 12:29:39 PM
The note said, "Please drink this vials"
"You now have Salmonilla!"
"Are you afraid?"
"Allah is Great!"

2001-10-25 12:34:53 PM
It's a setup. Bill misses the spotlight.

2001-10-25 12:42:25 PM
With all his fast food and wayward eating habits, I think that ol' Bill has build up an immunity to food poisoning.

2001-10-25 12:43:21 PM
Salmonlella? Pfft, these terrorists are loosing their edge. itll be flu next...

2001-10-25 12:43:40 PM
Wow! The Extreme Right Wing has shown their collective low IQ, and made my bashing of them that much easier!

Of course if this happend to a former Republican President, the nation would be "heartbroken" and the boards would be a-flame. Maybe it's time I move to a new country where there is only one political party. Atleast their honest with their intentions.

I'd also like to advocate that I be allow to masturbate in public buildings, thank you. (couldn't resist, first person that guesses where that is from get's a free salmonella cookie!)

2001-10-25 12:46:53 PM
Eh. Someone probably tried to mail him some fried chicken and it just sat in the mail room too long.

2001-10-25 12:57:04 PM
Vanilla ice cream with juicy chunks of salmon...big deal.

2001-10-25 01:00:13 PM
FifthColumn, be sure and haul Alec Bald-lose along when you barrel-ass out of here.

2001-10-25 01:03:38 PM
And people say Republicans have no sense of humor...

2001-10-25 01:21:02 PM
mmmmmm....salmon.

2001-10-25 01:25:37 PM
FifthCoumn:

Had it been a Republican ex-President instead of Bubba, he wouldn't have been sent the salmonella because Yo Mama Bin Laid-Yet, and every other yahoo with a hard-on for the US would have been grease spots by now. Let's not forget that the "US foreign policy" that these terrorists are pissed off about is rooted in the foreign policy of recent times (i.e. William Jefferson Clinton), and the reason we've fallen victim to their fanaticism is because for 8 years we opened things up too much and didn't keep a close eye on what was going on around the world.
I guess this is what happens when we have a President too concerned with getting a hummer from an intern, and not enough time, ummm, being the President.

2001-10-25 01:33:55 PM
This is the man who smokes joints but doesn't inhale them and gets felated but doesn't have sexual relations.

He could eat the salmonella and going by his past record would not get violently sick.

Let's ask him to.

Aorlando- Osama wouldn't be able to pull of his shiat if Dubya's daddy hadn't funded the Taliban (to oppose the Soviets- remember.) So all that's just plain silly. On the other hand if a few creeps like Starr and his right wing buddies hadn't been so preoccuoied by who was waxing Willie's dong then maybe we would've had more press on the events in the middle east...

2001-10-25 01:36:36 PM
Diogenes- keep it up! Right wing conspiracy theories are so amusing!
Seriously, how do you come up with this shiat?

2001-10-25 01:45:41 PM
FuzzyMonkey-
Bush Sr. and Reagan funding the Taliban was seen as a lesser of 2 evils at the time (expanded Soviet sphere of influence vs. small, relatively innocuous muslim fundamentalists). My point before was that I think if Dole or McCain, or any other Republican were President instead of WJC, I think a lot of this could have been averted. Republicans are notorious for aggressive (and effective) foreign policy. Instead of lobbing 25 cruise missiles at a spot in the desert to deflect attention away from a personal scandal, my contention is that a Republican President would have made sure any trouble makers that could be seen as even a possible threat were dealt with before headlines could be made. Sure it wouldn't have been completely legal, and our trusty Republican President would have been most surely acting outside of his Constitutionally granted powers, but the problem would have been nipped in the bud. Look how fast Rumsfeld, Cheney, Ashcroft, and G.W. got their man. Yo Mama was pegged as the culprit WITH EVIDENCE and tactical and strategic bombing was in motion 3 weeks after the 9/11 attack. Two US embassies in Africa get bombed, the WTC is bombed, and the USS Cole is attacked during Willie's 8 illustrious years, and NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT IT. Say what you will about "Curious" George, but he has been damned effective in making sure this bullshiat stops.

And I stand by what I said earlier: Had there been a Republican President from '92-'00, this would never have happened. Now if someone would please make a comment about Woody going straight to the police, I would be most appreciative.

2001-10-25 01:51:37 PM
Salmonella comes from handling rotten meat. This one should be .

2001-10-25 01:52:16 PM
Aorlando- gotcha, though I still don't agree. I know why Bush Sr. & Reagan funded and trained Osama. And perhaps they were right. but that doesn't change the fact that they created this monster. And while I think Dubya is certainly handling this well and I'm not sure what else he could do, I sense that history is repeating. How? Well, we are going to make sure we install a new govt in Afghanistan- will we have another bandaid or are we going to do it right this time? Will they choose something that is politically expidient- probably. Will it come back to bite us in the ass again- once more, probably.

2001-10-25 01:56:59 PM
And it ignores the fact that one of bin Laden's biggest gripes with the U.S. is that we sent troops to Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War, infidels desecrating the sacred soil. Hard to blame that one on Clinton, but if you want to...

2001-10-25 01:58:22 PM
FuzzyMonkey-

I actually heard a snippet of Colin Powell addressing the House or the Senate, and he mentioned the possible plan of action for installing a new government in Afghanistan. He said that the coalition can not afford to do this half-assed (I'm paraphrasing) and it might very well take many years of occupation and supervision to make sure everything proceeds perfectly. Of course some people are going to biatch about it; that's human nature. But the plan they have for the post-war era is heavy amounts of aid and attention so this won't happen again.

2001-10-25 02:00:10 PM
Lets hope they do get it right this time!

2001-10-25 02:00:11 PM
Someguy-
I'm not blaming the reasons Osama is pissed on Clinton. I'm blaming the fact that Osama is still a living, breathnig, functioning bag of shiat on Clinton.

2001-10-25 02:00:31 PM
Oh yeah, and what Someguy said.

2001-10-25 02:06:02 PM
Aorlando-
Since I'm a little misinformed here, could you tell me what the evidence is against Bin Ladin. Not that it makes a difference, I thought it was him as soon as I saw that 2nd plane hit. I just want to know what the evidence is....I can't wait until he's dead and his head is on display at the Smithsonian.

2001-10-25 02:07:54 PM
Also, in 1996, Clinton tried to do just what Bush is trying to do now--expanded wiretapping, chemical taggants in explosives (to track the terrorists in caste of another Centennial Olympic Park-style bombing), and various other anti-terrorist measures. Orrin Hatch and Tom DeLay held the bill up in the Senate until it died.

2001-10-25 02:09:14 PM
I hope he got some bagels to go with that salmonella!

salmonella-salmon

never mind, I suck.

blah

2001-10-25 02:15:08 PM
The vials came from the White Castle around the corner from Clinton's Harlem office.

2001-10-25 02:26:06 PM
I knew it was bin Laden as soon as the I heard that a plane hit the first tower (1/4 mile high silver buildings on the clearest day of the year? Come on!). The evidence I'm speaking of is the documents sent to Pakistan, Russia, France, and every other nation who requested it. I don't believe this evidence was made public here in the US and I don't think any American would even need to see it to believe it was ObL. I mentioned it to prove a point. As for what Clinton did and/or didn't do, the important thing is he didn't see it through. He didn't act sufficiently militarily in Somalia, and I think he kind of folded with the Iraqis when the UN inspectors were in there. I guess the point I'm trying to make here is that had Clinton made it his business to keep America's enemies, both perceived and real, under his heel, instead of his schwanz inside every woman within 50 miles of the White House, I don't think things would have become so bad.

The African embassies, although technically US soil, did not affect large numbers of Americans. The Cole and the forst WTC bombing however were blatant attacks on the US military and the people of the United States, respectively.

2001-10-25 02:27:47 PM
So how come Saddam's still around?

Oh, that's Clinton's fault too, I forgot.

2001-10-25 02:38:57 PM
HHHMMMMMM???

Spoild fried chicken?

2001-10-25 02:41:10 PM
Aorlando and FuzzyMonkey - Not that this makes much of a difference but we didn't fund the Taliban. We funded bin Laden and the Mujahedeen (If that's how you spell it). The Taliban was a student movement that took power after the Mujahedeen fracture and began fighting each other.

Spellin patrol - If I misspelled anything please feel free to ................go fark yourselves.

2001-10-25 02:42:37 PM
This stupid farking hick probably sent it to himself for the attention! fark him!

2001-10-25 02:44:33 PM
Either that or it's some fried chicken his redneck friends sent him but forgot that chickens spoils when not refrigerated! fark him again (Monica)

2001-10-25 02:44:41 PM
Oops, my bad Hassen. but like you said, it doesn't make much difference. (though didn't the Mujahedeen guys teach/train the ppl in the Taliban that took power? Just asking, I'm not sure.)

2001-10-25 02:45:06 PM
Aorlando,

I think you have brought up a great point. Until all this happened the Clinton Legacy was pretty much intact. Now history will look upon him in a new light. He will be remembered as the man who left the barn door open.

2001-10-25 02:45:27 PM
Figured it was best to get this in early...

2001-10-25 02:48:33 PM
Politics 101 -- Blame your predecessor. Willie did it for 8 years, now he can enjoy it like Papa George did.

2001-10-25 02:57:41 PM
Hassen-
The thing is, he made quite a few mistakes. Before the pro-Clinton contingent gets their panties in a bind, every President makes mistakes. Fortunately, there haven't been too many huge events to bring these mistakes out in the open. Herbert Hoover was, as Presidents go, vanilla ice cream. The 20th Century's Franklin Pierce. He did a fair job and no one had any complaints. Until the Great Depression came and they realized that some of Hoover's domestic and economic policies were flawed, and it took the onset of the Great Depression to bring them out.
Same with Nixon. After Watergate, Nixon's mistakes (as well as JFK's and JBJ's) were brought out front and he was seen as a bad man.

Same with Clinton. His errors in judgment and miscues were a little more open, but the bigger mistakes that normally would be swept under the rug and forgotten have been brought out in the open. I personally think the guy's a sleazebag, but the fact remains to an extent he's a victim of bad timing.

2001-10-25 02:59:37 PM
I don't think so. I think the Mujahedeen were mostly war lords and there followers plus bin Laden and his militant Arab group. As a matter of fact the General who was leading the Northern Alliance, the one who was assassinated just before 9/11 by the Taliban, he was part of the Mujahedeen.

2001-10-25 03:02:55 PM
Doh! I was mixed up, thanks Hassen.

2001-10-25 03:07:42 PM
Someone sent Clinton a raw chicken?

2001-10-25 03:56:10 PM
Or did someone throw raw eggs at him instead?
