There was a time when we at least waited until the swearing in before dispatching you to paradise with your virgins. Have a pleasant trip...sorry you missed out on the ocean-view package.

The guy was killed by Paul Revere, because Paul didn't want him to take our weapons.

Well, this is what happens when you run out of #2s.

These guys should consider shaving the beards and maybe going with some wayfarers. They're way too easy to spot now. The gold-rimmed aviators are a dead giveaway.

I thought the GOP and McCain and Palin were clear in 2008 when they said FartBongo couldn't keep us safe. Clearly, they were right.

FTA: "In a faxed message to two Pakistani channels - Express TV and Sama TV - a man claiming to be a spokesman of the 313 Brigade also said Kashmiri had been killed. The man, who called himself Abu Hanzallah, said the death would be avenged against the Americans."

Okay, buddy. Be sure to watch your ass; especially since now we know your name.

Oh yeah, this guy. He's the one who was behind the 2008 attacks in India, and the gubmint thought he was plotting similar commando-style attacks here in the U.S. Good thing we got him out of the way.

Don't you understand? The Iraq war was the reason these guys are dead. After 9/11 these guys fled to find safety in Pakistan, assuming the US would be right behind them. Instead Bush sent the next 6 1/2 years attacking a country that had nothing to do with it. This lulled the terrorists into a false sense of security. They became lazy, and that's when Obama striked. The Iraq war was just a diversion that wounded several of my friends, killed thousands of Americans, and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis. But look at the results!

ftfa; He is widely believed to have masterminded an audacious attack on the Mehran naval airbase in Karachi last month, in which six well-organised militants managed to hold off Pakistan's equivalent of the US Navy Seals for 15 hours.

That's odd. They don't sound like they're equivalent to US Navy Seals.

Abu isn't really a name. It means "Father of." It's about as helpful as a domestic terrorist calling himself "Bobby's Dad."

This works better than the way we kept killing their number 2 guy. Now anyone we kill can be claimed to have been a potential successor to Osama. Plus nobody was buying the "We killed the number 2 guy" bullshiat anymore.

Fun fact: It's was actually Al Quida's number 2 in Iraq that we kept claiming to have killed. There was also a period, after KSM (AQ's #3) was captured, where we kept claiming to have captured AQ's new #3.

I see the FARK GOP is gearing up for candle-light vigils in his honor, like they did with Bin Laden. Man, you guys love terrorists. Must sense a kinship with them or something.

it appears we have got the ISI's attention and they have decided to cooperate. my guess is we told them: "look we are going after those guys whether you like it or not. the question is do you want to cooperate and continue getting all the aid or help them and get nothing."

99.999% of the world's terrorists wear the uniform of the US military.

Sure. But the Pakis sub-contract the actual operation of the drones to us, since they have neither drones and associated equipment nor the necessary training. So basically, they give us permission. Which really means we don't farking ask, because what are they gonna do about it?

But yeah, whatever.

While I agree on a number of your ideas, you need to brush up on your history of the Khmer Rouge (under the soulless leadership of Pol Pot). it makes sense to add his name to a list of historical bad folk, but let's not confuse ideologies as far as exterminating their "enemies".
OTOH, it almost always comes down to making money and consolidating power, so the similarities are disturbing.
