Notes: Buffalo was the highest-rated market outside of New England, followed by Pittsburgh and Detroit. Those three cities are consistently the best US markets for TV ratings. Surprisingly, expansion cities Columbus and Nashville did better than traditional hockey markets like New York and Chicago. Nashville tied with Philly in ratings.

I'm guessing that was the two TVs we had on at work, the two at Cooter Brown's, and the two at Ryan's Irish Pub. I know of at least three other people in this city who like hockey, two more avidly than myself and one less casually than me. I'm surprised New Orleans made any ratings list re: hockey.

Publikwerks: Ishkur: Publikwerks: And if the 1994 Stanley Cup finals didn't teach you that winning the first game means nothing, then you will never learn. Still lots of hockey to play

Was that a best of 6 series or something?

PLEASE! FOR ALL CANADIANS NOT IN THE LOWER MAINLAND OF BC, BRUINS YOU GOTTA BEAT THE CANUCKS.

The ribbing we'll take from those fair-weather fans who know three players on the team, and can't name a single defenseman...well, it's too much. And it outweighs those 100 poor legit Canucks fans (wearing Linden or Smyl sweaters) who actually deserve it.

Ishkur: Dude, do you think I spend all day on Fark? I'm farking working, dumbass.

Now hurry up with those tears, my coffee's cold. Maybe if you cry harder about it, the NHL will scratch the first game and call a do-over.

Well, your "job" didn't stop you from posting the "Cry Moar" pic. Face it, your about as quick witted as Sarah Palin.

Now, if you want my tears, your gonna have to wait until Timmy Thomas raises the cup at the Garden. Then, the tears of joy will flow.

Yep, so to help you out in your third week of watching hockey, the black thing is called a "puck" and the people with the same jersey as you just bought are called "soccer fans."

You know what's funny? I heard a couple interviews from the green guys.

Apparently they can't even really see the game very well. They don't know where the puck is.
