Anyone see that Supernatural episode with the clown? A little kid looks out of his window and just sees a clown standing on his lawn waving at him. That freaked me the fark out.

farking licenses, how do they work?

2011-05-25 02:26:11 AM
The requirements for having a seat in congress are clearly written out in the constitution, and we shouldn't add additional requirements, such as the need for special licensing. That will only limit our options come election day.

At least now the clowns who eat me when I finally fall asleep will be licensed.

Don't teachers need a background check and certification? This might be a great idea. I've never heard of a teacher sleeping with their students.

I think clowns are inherently funny. Almost as funny as people with coulrophobia.

/but yeah, anyone you hire to hang around with kids should probably have a licenced.

in prison you tell people that you've killed before with a tear drop tattoo. outside of prison, clown makeup says the same thing.

I guess you could say that but more subtle and creepier.

Anyone who interacts with children in anyway should be required to get a license. In fact children should be assigned bodyguards that are responsible for their well-being. You know, making sure they're safe, making sure they eat their vegetables, making sure they're in bed at a reasonable hour. Obviously not just anyone should have this job. They might be a pedophile. This body-guard should probably have some sort of familial emotional attachment to the child to ensure there won't be any kiddie-diddling. But where the hell are we going to find people to do that?

Those people should also have licences. Helicopter licences.

A guy gave me directions on the street the other day, WITHOUT A LICENSE. He could have killed me. As we all know, government licenses are the only thing keeping evil people from posing as good.

Q: How do you make a clown stop laughing?
A: Hit him in the face with an axe.

Andrea Calver, coordinator for Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care, understands the concern, but says those who work directly with children, like at daycare centres or seniors' homes, are required to get background checks done.

"The difference between those working at daycares and as children's entertainers is that entertainers wouldn't be left alone with kids. There would be parental supervision," she said.

At least they include a little intelligence at the end of the article.

No, exotic dancers do not NEED a permit. They're required to get one, sure, but they don't NEED one.

I just realized this is a story from Canada. But I'm still amused that you'd need a permit to pole dance.
