Gosh, Subby, you're right. An identity thief would have to be a real idiot to want to impersonate people who pay no taxes and collect unemployment and welfare checks.

These people tend to be low class people. No need to alert them that their identities were stolen.

Nice trolling there, buddy. That your has nothing to do with the thread is a nice touch. So you want to blame FDR for the changes that subsequent congresses made to the original SS program? THat's like blaming Jesus for his whacked followers today.

It's just too bad that most of your points are completely wrong.

Just because you're unemployed doesn't mean you're a deadbeat. What'll suck for some of these people is if their credit reports get trashed by someone else and that becomes a factor in failing a background check at a job they might have got.

Everyone I know that's on social services:
A) Owns a cell phone
B) has the body of Grimace
C) has a "Free Parking" sign tattooed above their vagina

Its a lot more likely that a Mexican is using those identities for citizenship purposes, than because they are going to try to take out a loan in your name.

The more reason to slap business silly with a regulation or two prohibiting the use of credit scoring (or any similar rating) for any adverse decision(e.g. hiring, firing, promoting, contracting).

Take the value out of that information.

What about the unemployed who have good credit, but are part of the long-term unemployed? Perhaps some of the farkers here didnt think of that possibility.
