As flashmobs go, it wasn't very well choreographed, but it was cute nonetheless. I loved that the crusty old head teacher got most of the steps wrong except for the hustle. You could just tell he did the hustle a lot when it was a new dance. :)

Somewhere in between the baby boomers and the Me generation, we lost sight of fun. Most kids are so preoccupied with status and image they forgot the best part about being a teenager, having fun.

This looked like a group of kids and teachers who worked hard all year and had to cut loose. Also, at least it wasn't a Lady gag song.

This is awesome. I wish my teachers had done this when I was in high school. I'm even a gen x'er and I love this. Why not just appreciate this as having fun? Is that so bad?

I accidentally ran into the Village People once in a parking lot just as they were getting ready to perform at some bar when I was young, drunk, and returning to a party with a newly obtained bag of pretzels from a store up the street. The black guy thought I'd just give him my pretzels if he asked. I didn't though. At that time, I didn't even know who the Village People were.
