I dunno. So much of Pratchett's awesomeness comes from the narration, the descriptions and the subtle ironic shadings of the characters' inner thoughts. I don't think it can really be done justice in visual medium. This is certainly borne out by my ongoing struggle to make it all the way through the Colour of Magic movie (been more than a year now).

Sky's adaptations are a bit mixed.

Hogfather adapation - decent
Colour of magic - bad
Going Postal - very good

Seems the film adaptation of Wee Free Men died a death.

As with the books themselves, The Colour of Magic/The Light Fantastic is pretty rough around the edges; and the casting of Twoflower was awful, see the others, especially Going Postal which was excellent. And sessly, go fund this.

you magnificent bastard.

I hope they fail on this. I've never seen a Discworld movie I liked.

Now it must be said I didn't see Going Postal, I'd given up by then

Have you seen the animated adaptations, with Christopher Lee as DEATH?
