A five year old kid should have been securely buckled in the back seat, if not in a 5 point harness then at least a seat belt positioning booster. How did she manage to grab the wheel?

I always said I wanted to die like my grandpa... peacefully in his sleep, and not screaming and flailing like the passengers in his car.

Weird, you'd expect a guy who's driving under the influence to be more respectful of child car seat laws.

With any other five year old, I would agree with you. This five year old should have been given the keys. And something to help her reach the pedals.

Came in here to say just that. Not that I think a 5 year old *shouldn't* be allowed to sit in the front seat (most car seats are really just booster seats at that point), but I was blown away that the charge of "improperly secured child" wasn't lumped in there as well.

Oh well, we here in Florida can look forward to this sort of thing happening all the time for the foreseeable future. Our governor nixed the whole Rx tracking program out of "privacy concerns." Forget that just about every other state has it, and there have been no reported abuses. Forget the fact that Rx abuse kills more people in Florida than car accidents, or all other drugs combined. How much money did you take from big pharma, Governor Scott? I would approve if you got hit by a bus you bald retard.

There are seriously dozens of pain management clinics on every major street here in Tampa Bay, and there's even more in south Florida. They exist for one reason - not pain management, but to profit by feeding addictions/creating addicts. They don't take insurance so as to not draw unnecessary attention to themselves, and they usually have on-site pharmacies.

I was a painkiller addict for 5 1/2 years, starting at age 17. I'd see 4-5 doctors a month, which as you can imagine, is not so legal. From EACH doctor I'd walk out with more than a legit doctor would give a dying cancer patient. There's nothing they can do about it. Go to a diff pharmacy for each doctor and there's no way they'll know (Statute is up for me). Our last governor, a moderate republican named Charlie Crist finally stepped up to the problem by getting a law passed that would've establish an Rx tracking system by the end of 2011. Then we get a neo-con who ruins everything.

We will continue letting doctors, who have pledged to do no harm, do nothing but harm. We will continue supplying the entire eastern half of the country with cheap, highly addictive opiates.

fark you, Rick Scott.
