Butter isn't particularly bad for blood sugar, if you're not having it with a high volume of carbs. She'll be okay.1

But I think there might be some entertainment value if she lost a hand to the disease. She could get a prosthetic attachment with different devices, like an egg whisk and a butter knife. We could rebuild her. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic chef. Paula Deen will be that chef. Fatter than she was before. Fatter... hungrier... butter.

Why don't I have an RSS of this site already?

Cool story, sis: This past February, a friend gave me 4 really nice venison steaks. Problem is, I'd never cooked venison before, so went on FoodNetwork.com to look for recipes. I found a bunch, one of which was deep-fried venison. I recoiled in horror--who the hell would deep-fry venison?? I click on the link: Paula Deen.

CSB:

The chef at a steak house I bussed at in college rightfully hated anyone who ordered a steak more done than medium.

One time we had a customer order well done, and he sent out a well done steak, but he wasn't happy about it.

The customer sent it back because it was under-cooked.

The chef took that fu*ker and threw it in the deep fryer for a good 5 minutes and sent it back out a disgusting blackened mess, infused with his rage and fryer grease.

Customer sent back word that it was the best steak he'd ever had.

This is more proof that Americans have shiat for cuisine. Think about it: McDonalds is preferred to some of the shiat we eat. Mc-farking-Donalds.

And it doesn't help that Ham Magnet Deen is throwing more fat on top of everything. Who didn't see this coming? The woman has one course in life: to go out in the most painful and humiliating way possible. In a few years she'll be driving around in a rascal that's wheezing under her girth, slapping small horrified children with the infected pus-filled stump of her right leg while her left looks like someone filled it with cream corn until it nearly burst under a web-work of veiny sausage skin. Fortunately, the smarter children will smell her crotch-cheese odor well before she wheels into the local Wal-Mart and still be able to outrun her Custard Chariot while dry heaving. "HEY Y'ALL" she'll shout before having to don her oxygen mask to take several shallow breathes. Yet despite being unable to breathe, this won't stop her farting from being loud, wet, and full of volume.

The diabetes will take most of her eyesight, but she'll get around with a cane that looks like an oversized pixie stick. Her muumuu will have slogans sewn onto it that will always be slightly yellower than before. And she'll get the special treatment, due to 'the incident' that took tubs of Crisco to push her mass through the self-checkout lane. But nobody will talk about the Mexican day laborer who died when she got free and farted him to death.

Are we shocked? Really, America, are we shocked?

Oh sweet Jesus. Her macaroni and cheese recipe is fattening enough. I have made it several times, over the past few years. Now I make the Eat This, Not That version. But to take The Lady's Macaroni and Cheese recipe, bread it and deep fry it? That is insanity. Probably tasty insanity.

I couldn't eat that though. I just can't do that to myself.

I don't like meat -- any meat -- which isn't well done. It doesn't taste right to me. Meat which isn't well done makes me feel queasy. I would vomit. Same with eggs. I don't like undercooked eggs. Some folk can slurp that crap right up... just like eating undercooked or merely sered meat. Different tastes are ok in the world.

It isn't the chef's place to give folks what HE wants, unless the menu specifies that the chef absolutely will not cook any meat well done. It's the chef's place to give customers what they want, what they are paying him to cook. Your chef is an asshole.

Unless he specifically stated on his menus that he won't cook meat a certain way and don't ask; then the customers would be assholes would making requests he stated from the outset he was uncomfortable fulfilling.

Apparently dietary cholesterol helps to switch off the enzyme HMG Co-A reductase and stops the internal production of cholesterol naturally. It is important to remember that the mechanism of statin drugs is to inhibit the same HMG Co-A reductase enzyme.

Since the original famous Framingham study, new studies conducted at Framingham showed that those who ate more saturated fat (eggs, butter and cream) were the most active, weighed the least and had the lowest cholesterol levels. (Archives of Internal Medicine, July 1992)

Another study from Framingham reported that men and women who liberally ate cholesterol-rich food had an average cholesterol level between 237-245mg/dl.

In comparison, the study then looked at men and women who strictly restricted their dietary cholesterol intake as recommended. The startling result showed that the average serum cholesterol concentration levels were between 237-241mg/dl and statistically insignificant.

High Carbohydrate Diet Triggers Plaque Buildup

It was also noted that the overproduction of cholesterol by the body came from increased levels of insulin production. Increased insulin is released to breakdown high carbohydrate meals.

The only surprise is that she doesn't have a "Super-Diabetes" that can spread by close contact and is immune to insulin.
