I always enjoy how the many layers of the grand canyon were deposited in a flood. As if to suggest that they would be deposited everywhere nicely except the giant canyon thing, and it just so happens to be where the river is.

I mean really I am surprised they bother even suggesting an actual physical process is responsible. Should just say that the mighty hand of God himself carved that gorge with a spoon.

Idiots

That's what happens when you try to prove your religion with science. You either end up realizing your religion is crap, or you twist the science into an unrecognizable farce to keep a hold on your faith. Some of the anti-evolution videos the creationists make for children are really scary. It's like they think the 9th Commandment doesn't apply to them because they are lying for Jesus.

FTFA:

To discover why, he and a team of geologists analysed new data from the of mobile seismic stations known as the Earthscope Transportable Array

The observatory-quality seismographs were first set up in the West in 2004, and are moving across America in a ten-year project.

That's pretty cool. They are mapping the contenent over a ten year period. This is what I love about Science, this "Let's do more testing and exploring so we can understand what's really going on even better."

As opposed to, you know, ASSUMING WE ALREADY HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS.

The guy who is trolling you right now: News flash: scientist discovers that the Grand Canyon is younger than science thought.

Keep going, guys. The better the scientific research becomes, the closer the results get to what we Christians knew all along.

Something, I can't put my finger on it but I know it's there, is telling me that you are trolling me right now.

Bevets:

Its even more young than that.

And that's it. Thread over because Bevis says so.

Thank you almighty Bevis, for you are the Truth, the Light and the Way.

I understand now, and recant my heathen mis-livings and adopt your entire standpoint. I shall now lie like hell under the guise of religiosience and make the world a better place to troll in.

Just like you, Father. Now I shall Lead and preach to others your Gospel of Quote Mining, for it is truly the only Intelligently Designed form of Creation.

Bevets: Professor Levander's believes this 'mantle drip' happened in the last six million years, making it the most recent anomaly in the Colorado Plateau, a finding which could help pinpoint the age of the Grand Canyon.

He told Amazing Planet: 'There are generally two schools of thought on the age of the Grand Canyon - one is that it formed in the last six million or seven million years, and the other is that it has a much longer history as a canyon...

'Our results suggest it's the younger date that's more accurate.'

Its even more young than that.

It was created, along side everything else, last Thursday.

That the Flood carved it out in 5 minutes? Riiiight.

Regardless of whether you're serious, or just a troll, I find it hilarious that Creationists try to use the Grand Canyon as proof of the flood when it shows none of the signs of being carved by catastrophic flooding and all the signs of being the result of slow erosion. (You want to see what catastrophic flood damage looks like? Look up the Scablands (pops).)

Stop listening to idiots and liars like Kent Hovind. It's not helping your side.

Of course he's a troll; look at his name.

Either you say stuff that fits with your Fark handle, or you deliberately picked a Fark handle to fit with what you say.

/+1, regardless
