Sorry, but this guy didn't cause those deaths, the fundy asshats did. They are the ones who did the killing, and this was just an excuse they used. The burning of a book doesn't make someone who is normally a nice, peaceful, law-abiding person suddenly go crazy and up and kill someone else. They wanted to cause violence and suffering, this was just an excuse they use to justify their behaviour to themselves.

While this preacher is a complete waste of skin and nobody would mind if he just fell off the Earth, he is not the cause of this.

Also if the media really cares about the problems "caused" by what he does they'd do the responsible thing and ignore his ass. If you dig through his profile, he's involved with (or maybe owns) a multi-level marketing firm that specializes in internet marketing and new media.

Not sure how that ties into his Fark troll persona, though. Almost nothing that I saw when I internet-investigated him would suggest that he supports the positions that he advocates on fark.
