The Methflies lies have claimed over 50 million victims in their relentless sweep across North America, driving humanity before them. Los Angeles and San Francisco were burned out within ten days, now uninhabited by any creature with blood in its veins.

Nothing we've thrown at the "death" flies has worked. Nukes have only met with limited success, and any other method has only resulted in uniforms full of dry bones, and more and more flies.
