I think we need to change the relevancy in cases like this of whether or not these people are mentally stable or sane. Maybe it is generally irrelevant but I always read about defense attorneys trying to argue it. It shouldn't matter at all. If you kill someone and rip out their insides you need to either be put to death or locked up for the rest of your life. How does ones mental stability take away from the severity of their crime? What are you going to do, rehabilitate her in a mental hospital? She's not worth the trouble.

If you ever do a crime, it is good to add some insane elements so you can help your lawyer build a defense case. Probably doesn't take much, just something weird like this chick did.

Honestly, she really must have a low IQ to not even know (a) what is supposed to come out of your body when giving birth (b) that doctors can tell that you didn't just have a baby.
