We're not the original Smothers Brothers, but we are brothers. I'm Lyle, and this is Eric Menendez.... we don't care which one Mom liked best.

I'd be cold to the biatch too! Spoiled little shiat, get a job!

Lol 3m! That's *exactly* what I was thinking! Spoiled rich brats can eat donkey arse.

Man, those Scots really ARE cheap, aren't they?

2001-10-22 10:30:13 AM
If it ain't Scottish...

It's CRAP!

2001-10-22 10:32:41 AM
The whole case makes me nauseous but her smug smile in the photo earns the almighty pimp slap. (WHACK!) Gee you dont think good 'ol mum has anything to do with this?

2001-10-22 10:33:39 AM
Hah!

He called her "the girl"

that's great

Read the bloody article, daddy is rich and it is absurd this girl has to sue her daddy....

So just because daddy is rich, the little biatch should get whatever she wants?

2001-10-22 10:38:37 AM
Well, no, but it's pretty disgusting that she had to sue him the FIRST time to pay for her schooling.

2001-10-22 10:39:27 AM
"In December, Sheriff Wylie Robertson gave a damning judgment on Mr Lavelle, describing him as a "controlling" individual who showed no emotion towards his eldest daughter.

Sheriff Robertson said: "His evidence was given without emotion, there was certainly no warmth towards his daughter."

He added: "He did not often refer to her by name, preferring to use 'she', 'the girl' or 'my daughter'."

Gee, kinda tough to pinch out an "I love you sweetie" when she's SUING YOUR ASS for the SECOND TIME, isn't it?

Well, it IS Boston, where it's a girl's Constitutional right to be spoiled.

3M TA3 - Thanx for saving me the trouble to find the elusive Veruca Salt pic.

Sounds like she needs a good ass whooping. This "daughter" seems to be just another spoiled brat with a lawyer.

£850 for a man earning £110,000 a year is not excessive. She's perfectly right to sue the farker.

Sounds like a lot of people here have got a bad case of the green-eyed monster.

2001-10-22 10:49:52 AM
LOL 3M TA3!

I can understand the paying for school part from the first suit, but incidentals?

2001-10-22 10:57:09 AM
I wouldn't imagine that the divorce decree said he had to pay for PRIVATE school and she originally sued to make him pay for that. Basic public school is all he should legally be obligated for no matter how much he makes.

2001-10-22 10:57:28 AM
I dunno. Money that is not earned, is not truly yours. Just because you know someone of wealth, it doesn't mean you're entitled to that wealth.

Beyond the essentials, there is no argument even if it's a family member. I see so many kids ruined on handouts from loaded parents. Education is essential part of a child's development -- a racket and computer are not.

2001-10-22 11:05:12 AM
Blink,
In my not so humble opinion, that computer is essential for her education (modern times and all that).

2001-10-22 11:05:37 AM
Haha. Too many jokes about the Scots being tight-fisted to choose from.

2001-10-22 11:06:36 AM
Blink,
Sorry, forgot the second part. I feel that that tennis racket is overdoing it.

2001-10-22 11:16:07 AM
Read the Damn Article

Her parents divorced and apparently he hasn't been paying for things that the court ordered him to. He's just a cheap bastage that doesn't even support his own children.

Wonder what Christmas is like at their house. Probably need to resort to binding arbitration for exchanging gifts.

I don't know, I remember a converstaion between my father and I that took place when I was 15 or 16 that went something like this.

3M: "Dad I want a bicycle."

Dad: "3M",(he always called me that), "Get a paper route"

3M:

And so it was, I got a paper route, the bike and generic Rubic's cube for signing up more customers

^ The last thing there was "<pout>" but I didn't turn of HTML

2001-10-22 11:26:14 AM
I did read the article. He hasn't been paying his child support, and she had to sue him for objects incidental to her education. That does not include a fscking tennis racket and a laptop computer! Send the little biatch a pencil and tell her that if she wants to play sports to pick one she can afford.. or better yet, get a goddamned job!

Blink is bang-on.... you're not entitled to someone's wealth simply because you're their descendant. They created you, shut up and be grateful.

2001-10-22 11:28:14 AM
There's a huge difference between paying support for your children and being forced to pay for "I wanna's". He may be a cheap bastard, but that's his right. I think this girl has a real "need" for a biatch slap. Plus, she really screwed herself for any future generosity from her dear old Dad.

2001-10-22 11:30:13 AM
After spending 6,600 on a private school, I don't think it's too much to tell her mother to buy a tennis racket, even if he is rich. Also, computers in the home are not an essential in any way. Sounds like they are trying to gouge him for everything they can.

2001-10-22 11:51:28 AM
When I was a kid...

2001-10-22 11:57:53 AM
Completely spoiled biatch.

2001-10-22 12:17:42 PM
He added: "He did not often refer to her by name, preferring to use 'she', 'the girl' or 'my daughter'."

or biatch, twat, coont, or asshole.

2001-10-22 12:33:59 PM
What a lovely family situation.

2001-10-22 12:37:15 PM
The people here claiming she had the right to sue him "because he's rich" are just as greedy as that little biatch.

Having money does not mean you are obligated to share it. As a parent, you must supply your children with food, clothing, and shelter. As far as education is concerned, it must at a minimum be public school, NOT private. If he doesn't want to buy her a computer or tennis racket, that's his choice, their incidental purchases. If he wants to spend his money on a jaguar and designer items and buy his daughter's clothes from K-Mart, fark her.

2001-10-22 12:37:57 PM
Excuse the grammar -- I, uh, just got up...

2001-10-22 12:46:49 PM
Of course, the fact that he clearly cares far more for himself than his daughter is exactly the sort of attitude that is needed in this namby-pamby girl world.

2001-10-22 01:10:27 PM
Like father like daughter... these two are such a$$holes they're perfect for each other. They should be sentenced to share a room for the rest of eternity.

2001-10-22 01:20:56 PM
So many of you are missing the point about child support. If mum and dad had not split up, I'm sure that girl (spoiled or not) would be going to private school with her computer and tennis racket and all the other trappings of the "rich". For whatever their reasons, mum and dad don't love each other any more, so why should the girl have to suffer for their acrimony? I do not feel sorry for dad because he can't afford another 6 pairs of Gucci loafers... Parents should have the decency to look after their kids. Period.

2001-10-22 01:22:44 PM
Man, and I thought living in Washington was bad.

Nothing beats the security of a vasectomy.

I bet this girl is just like her mother.. and now we know why they're divorced!

2001-10-22 01:24:55 PM
I don't think it's asinine at all. You have a single mother trying to support two kids, and you have a father who is rich as Croseus, but refuses to help them out. He has no problem buying himself Cartier watches and expensive cars. He's a piece of shiat...good for her.

2001-10-22 01:26:10 PM
can you really call "settling out of court" winning the lawsuit? she got what she wanted but she didn't win the courtcase.

2001-10-22 01:31:05 PM
There is no way in hell she needs a computer. I didn't get my first computer until my third year of college, and I studied COMPUTER ENGINEERING.

2001-10-22 01:33:27 PM
Rich as Croesus, but he's drinking himself into oblivion!

2001-10-22 01:37:33 PM
Umlaut: Would she? Maybe the old man's just a stingy farker and wouldn't have given her those things anyway.

2001-10-22 01:43:21 PM
Flakeloaf: You could be right; that may have been the grounds for divorce? ;)

2001-10-22 01:52:38 PM
When I was a kid, we had to walk through snow uphill to sue our parents.

2001-10-22 01:52:56 PM
I'd be curious to know what the terms of the divorce are. My parents got divorced and my mom basically took a whole lot less of a split in exchange for my father agreeing to pay for schooling, regardless of where the schooling was or the cost. If those items are requirements of the school,(and I hate to break it to alot of you but in some private schools these days, computers are.) then he is responsible.

However, unless this is a tennis school, I think the tennis racquet might be pushing it.

2001-10-22 02:04:50 PM
We got a picture and an ass to kick, who's flying to Scotland?

2001-10-22 02:23:08 PM
spoilt...much?

just cos her parents are rich, doesn't mean she needs to be spoon fed.
well done to her dad for trying to get her to get off her lazy backside and earn some money herself.

by the way, i'm doing computing Alevel at hte moment and don't reckon having a computer at home is "essential" useful certainly..but not essential
