... a modified Whopper that includes a chicken breast and bacon. ... But there's some bad (good?) news for American burger enthusiasts - the Meat Monster is only available in Japan.

Because it's impossible to find any of those ingredients in a US Burger King.

I'm as big of a meat eater as they come, but honestly... that doesn't look remotely appetizing. I can think of far, far better ways to eat a days worth of calories in one sitting.

I was confused about this, too. If this is all about "having it your way" by adding a la carte items, and these items are already available at my local Burger King, what's to stop me from ordering this?

Meat Monster? I knew a girl in college with that nickname.

Yeah... Chicken has no place on my red meat or red meat substitutes!

All I can think of is how big a dump I would take after eating one of these.

/more than likely I'd get the Hershey squirts

ftfa:According to Consumerist.com, the burger, if made with the American versions of the ingredients, would have 1,160 calories, 24 grams of saturated fat, 240 milligrams of cholesterol, 13 grams of sugar, 54 grams of carbohydrates, 69 grams of fat, 1.5 grams of trans fat and 2,290 milligrams sodium.

and what are the numbers in Japan? higher? lower? what sort of crap are they putting in their US stuff, or not putting in??

IT'S SOCIALISM!!!!

I think this is the first out of control sandwich that actually looks gross to me. Just looks too ugly to eat.

Are the Japanese portions at burger king different than in America? I assume that's what they meant, because we obviously have all the ingredients.

Do the Japanese share a noble reaction or fault the product and what will it take to wash it down?

Look, I like to eat. REALLY like to eat.

I wouldn't eat that even if I was purging right after.

2011-04-12 10:25:34 AM
Huh, I can't find any nutrition information on the Japanese Burger King website. I guess they aren't required to tell consumers that in Japan.

Their menu is pretty awesome, though. I like that it tells you what else comes on the sandwich right on the menu (e.g., lettuce and onion).

Seriously, Fark, you do this a lot in pun threads, I've noticed. Here's a good guideline: If it doesn't read like a reasonably coherent person putting a sentence together, it's not a clever play on words.

For a smaller version, try a chicken ring on your bacon whitecastle cheeseburger, add a little honey mustard, mmmmmmm.

On the bright side, it's a relatively low-carb item.

Why do American's insist on getting fatter? It surprises me that people haven't started flavoring lard and eating it plain.

Well, it's more the fact that the BK Broiler failed in the US, and so the broiled chicken patty is not going to be on hand.

CSB Time: During a period of my misspent youth, I managed a Burger King, and thus had all the tools to make this sandwich, except that I used the following build:

Top Bun
Bull's Eye BBQ Sauce Lettuce
3 piece bacon
2 slice cheese
Broiler Patty 3 piece bacon
2 slice cheese
Whopper Patty
Bottom bun

//So tasty.
/Twas the "special sammich"
///Retarded ordering system pretty much made it management only, since it rang out at close to 7 bucks.
