Get used to it - the North Port area is competing for the new white-trash-with-cash capitol of America. The one nice thing is it helps keep attention off where I grew up, in Kentucky.

Port Charlotte is home to the 70 year old prostitute. The Port Charlotte Town Center mall has about four stores left inside of it and the movie theater is overrun with gangbangers. There are actually more tattoo parlors than dentists. The median income is $33,000; yet the town is overrun with Teabaggers biatching that the tax rate for rich people is too high.
I hate that town and I'm glad I moved away. It is literally the armpit of Florida
