I bet fear and intimidation experienced by victims during pre-trial proceedings, combined with a ferocious, protracted campaign to undermine the prosecution, culminated in a set of charges that became a virtual slap on the wrist.

If you want retribution than I think we should have it in our sentencing...if we don't, and we only want to punish them with being incarcerated than we need to clean up our prisons and make them as safe as possible. I'm all for raping and torturing people who are complete animals and monsters, but let's at least be out in the open about it. Prisoners have way too much power in prison when it comes to how things are run currently. Also, 25% of the population being locked up is farking absurd.

And a sexual deviant and procurer at the highest levels. There is a recent nauseating puff-piece about him in New York Magazine, complete with ringing personal endorsements from Donald Trump, and from Bubba himself.

In the article, he purports to run a gazillion dollar hedge-fund personally, with only administrative assistance - no portfolio managers or analysts - by spending 10 hours a day trading on the phone. This obvious lie means most likely that, instead of being a financial genius, he is actually a financial front, a la Madoff.

Also, he has incriminating evidence of his powerful friends in compromising positions, to serve as insurance; the leaked snapshot of Prince Andrew was a warning.

Please rest assured that our country and financial markets rest in honest and capable hands. That is all.

The smear campaign his defense team ran was astounding. Basically look at some of the defenses being posted downstream in the thread on R.C. Johnson and multiply it times one thousand.

The basic tactic of his defense team was to paint all of these girls as a bunch of gold digging "professionals" taking advantage of poor Mr. Epstein and that the girls were just accusing him to get a piece of his pile of cash.

From his lawyers' dirty defense to the Palm Beach DA - Michael McAuliffe - not charging Epstein like he should have been given the mountain of evidence against him, this was one of the most disgusting miscarriages of justice I have ever read about.

The age of consent in New York is 17. Do you really believe that there's a difference between illegal 14 year old poon and legal 17 year old poon? Well, there isn't. He could have had all the legal 17 year old ass that he wanted, but he deliberately went after the illegal stuff because it was illegal.

The reason guys like this do such things is because they want to flaunt there power and privileges in front of the world. "See, I'm not an ordinary person. I can do whatever I want, to whomever I want, any time I want.........and get away with it."

I wouldn't feel sorry if someone did off him, not for stuffing the young stuff, but because he's a sociopath with god delusions.

OK, did you ever see the original Godfather movie, or better yet, read the novel? Remember the character, Jack Woltz, the movie producer? He was the dude who ended up with the horse head in his bed. Remember what his little hobby was? He was porking little underage girls. Now, who supplied those girls for Jack to pork? Why it was their moms. Yeah, I know that was "fiction". Mario Puzo, the author of the Godfather, based a lot of his "fictional" characters on real life people. Jack Woltz was based on real life Jack Warner, head of Warner Brothers. It was one of the worst kept secrets in Hollywood that Jack Warner had done countless underage girls on the casting couch. Those girls were all delivered to Warner by an adult parent or guardian, mostly their mothers.

The fact that the Joppans were willing to sacrifice Andromeda to the Kraken doesn't change the fact that the Kraken is a monster.

I'm not suggesting that the criminal behavior of the adult guardians of these girls mitigates against Epstein's criminal behavior. All I'm saying is that these girls were not grabbed off the street. Epstein isn't the only one who deserves a long prison sentence.

Rich rapists don't have to go through the hassle of grabbing their victims of the street. Like cleaning toilets, that's dirty work - they pay people to do that sort of thing for them.

I've heard conspiracy theorists rant and rave about the child prostitution rings of the ruling elite, and always took it with a reptilian-overlord grain of salt. Seeing stuff like this though, it really makes me wonder if they exist (the article implies they do) who all is in the club, and even if membership is required to ascend to some positions...

In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: the police, who investigate crime; and the district attorneys, who prosecute the offenders. When they fail in this task, or worse, take the side of the criminals against the people, there is only one thing left to do.

glad you clarified that. not only does he deserve a long prison sentence, he deserves to die.

i remember a story about a woman (crack addict or tweaker) who allowed to men to have sex with her 12 yr old daughter in exchange for a pack of smokes.
does that somehow make the men less guilty? no, that's just more people that need killing.

bostonowns: imagine if him and charlie sheen had a party together LOL
i would sell my soul to be at that party!

Charlie has two daughters. Charlie has a history of violence. Charlie likes women of age. I'm thinking Charlie ain't down to party like Epstein, no matter how much coke is involved.

And for everyone talking shiat about OJ, I think OJ could redeem himself with everyone on the planet if him and this asshole were put into a cell together, with only pictures of Sidney at 9 on the wall. Epstein makes lewd comment because he can't help himself. OJ is then allowed to not help himself, either.
----------------------

Observatory: RedEmily: he probably has a small one.

Look it up....at some point in one of the stories about this guy, they had transcripts from a police interview...actually they had video also and the cop reads from a victim's statement about Mr. Epstein's "egg shaped penis"

so he owns the fabled microcock.

i actually think that it wasn't money that let this guy get off. it's what he could do for other people that let this guy get off. if he's a billionaire, but other rich folks hate him, he would be farked. the only way to get to this guy is to turn his peers against him.

what bothers me is that so many of his peers are just like him. are people that rich naturally pedophiles (see him and the other creep, Polanski, as well as Limbaugh)? or is it something they learn in order to fit in better with their peers?

transplendent: This douchebag is on the Council of Foreign Relations and theTrilateral Commission, and hobnobs with Clinton, which means that he is not just any douchebag, but a very very powerful one.

Wow. I feel sick.
