Yeah, just what Red Sox fans need. Faster access to their Douchebag elixir

As a Sox fan...I agree

For $7.50 a beer I'll just get wasted before the game.

Seconded.

Also true. But, do you really go to Fenway not to get you wallet raped? I mean, there is nothing cheap about a trip to the Fens. Be it parking, the expensive vendors inside the park, ect...

$7.50 would be nice. Beer prices at the Stadium are $9 at the minimum

I go up early and get my share outside the park before I head in. I refuse to pay ballpark prices for most everything.

Great, an excuse for them to jack the beer prices to $10.

I hate ballpark prices, but there are certain things that I like to splurge on to add to the experience, like garlic fries at an M's game or peanuts at a minor league game, even if they are grossly overpriced.

no need to become a Sox fan. We already have this at the Verizon Center in DC, so I can continue to be a Caps fan.

Garlic fries are worth their overpricing alone. I had some when I went to "Whatever they're calling the SF ballpark this year" park a few years ago.

/supposedly Wrigley has an early bird concession discount if you're in the ballpark an hour and a half before the game
//when coming from the burbs, getting to Wrigley even half an hour before the game is no easy task

Hell, the Allentown, PA minor league team (Iron Pigs, seriously) had this last year. Way to keep it cutting edge, Boston.

You ever been to Fenway? Cutting edge it is not...

FTA: The pint-size plastic cup's recyclable magnet bottoms, which can be used for advertising, won't force Aramark to hike prices for Bottoms Up-poured Budweisers

Srsly? Butt-wiper? All the great microbrews in New England and they're selling that awful water + flavoring? Reason # 1,872,493 why the Red Sox suck.

You're bitter? About what, the 2004, 2007, and 2008 ALDS and the 1986 ALCS? Didn't the Angels sweep the Red Sox in the 2009 ALDS? Slightly selective memory, there, no?

And you know f&ck-all about beer, isn't it?

Oh, I get it. It's "let's cover old news day" at Fark.

Time to find some better modmins, Drew. Whoever is tending the ship is doing a "full Hazelwood".

well if you really wanted to get your beer fast... just become a Royals or Rays fan... Because if nobody else is at the game you get your beer wicked fast

Would love to see those show up at Miller Park. When the top of the 7th is coming to an end, the beer lines are incredibly long to get your last beer for the rest of the game. Its a depressing time, especially when you wait 15 minutes to all of the sudden be denied the Nectar of the Gods.

/GO Brewers!!!!
//Brewers are having injury problems that are nearing the likes of the Packers this year
///is that a sign of good things to come?

The Carolina Hurricanes have booths with local craft beer for a buck more than the regular pisswater. I'm sure they're not the only ones with such a thing.

Also, being a Royals fan is good enough reason to get drunk real fast.

Okay, seriously, chill the fark out, everyone. Just because the submitter has the attention span of recent modmins doesn't mean we have to have a massive biatch session about Fenway getting the Bottoms Up system.

True, most of the problem fans and their Pink Hat girlfriends are probably gizzing themselves over this, but whatever. Most of them disappear for half the game anyway to go get drunk somewhere, and if you're lucky they don't bother coming back in the first place.

\Fark in general needs a giant bottle of douche lately
\\and if you look at my profile, you'll see that I'm not the submitter

No Line For Beer: Also, being a Royals fan is good enough reason to get drunk real fast.

It's what I love about being a lifelong Pirate's fan: No line for beer, you can be hammered by the 3rd, by which time the Pirates are usually down by 6. Off to go bar hopping.

Fenway has the same thing. But the vast majority of the beer stands are crappy adjunct lagers, because that's what the majority of the public drinks.

keylock71: 7-0. Now they've got something new to whine about in Montreal

Speaking of which, the gahden has some good beer stands. Last I was there, they had a Hoegaarden tap. And yeah, hell of a game by the Bruins tonight.

Brilliant logic. "Well, we're already getting robbed, may as well tell the robber about the three one-hundred dollar bills I keep stashed in my shoe!"
