It would be unnatural to do nothing at all. But indeed, killing him on the spot under our legal system is a bad idea. Temporary insanity that leads to beating him so badly that his spine never recovers - that's another story.

I just can't imagine how a parent couldn't do something. Sure, it's impulse and rage - but that's human. But hey, wait till your kid get's sexually assaulted by a monster dressed like a person and see how you react.
