Dang, I thought that said Indian rope trick, that would have been better.

Why would you stop for a rope anyway? On a bike, yeah, sure. But in a big frigging car?

I´d speed up and let the kids learn that you don`t stop a ton or two of vehicle with a rope. If there was a rope that is. Some nasty ropeburn at the least.

Well if that isn't some good ol' fashioned tom-foolery.

2011-03-21 07:59:20 AM
We did that in the 1960s.

We got a little older and moved on to water balloons thrown at cars.

Swerve to avoid rope.
Run over first jackass.
Lose control.
Run over second jackass.
Sue parents.
Profit.

Ya know, two 200 lb guys with a rope or chain of any kind vs a 2000 lb car would be pretty farking amusing at 30 mph.

Wonder if they'd get yanked out of their shoes

The human brain is conditioned on context clues. If you see two people standing like something is going on, your brain concludes there is and that your eyes must be stupid.

This is also why women go for men with wedding rings on, their brain immediately assumes they must be decent because someone got tricked into marrying them.

I wonder if either of those kids would fall for the "invisible swerve and run one of them over" trick...

The first time I saw a video of guys doing this, I lol'd. The second time, I heheh'd. The subsequent times it was pretty much meh.

/Seriously!
//There's actually people that haven't seen this?
///Not enough free time, I guess.
////Four of 'em!
