Nothing new this week from Drew, but a quick update: Treasure Island agreed to extend the deadline to get the room rate, so for the next 48 hours or so, you can still be included (rumor is that the code FARKCOM doesn't work online; you need to call it in).

Looking forward to seeing you in a couple weeks.

I hate to say I'm not coming, but I have other things going on that week that involve my newest business, and can't reschedule them. I'm sure Fondle My Sweaters will breathe a HUGE sigh of relief, because I won't be there to ignore her and cause her grief.

But I do hope everyone has a grand time. I'll be thinking about my Nasser and how much we miss him.

Don't forget if you want a free Fridge in your room, tell the Front Desk you have Medication that needs refrigeration (insulin is the most common type). ADA Regulations say they have to give it to you for free.

No, the group code doesn't work online, only via phone. Also, something not mentioned, but if you book under the group code the "resort fee" is waived (usually around $15-$20/night).

If you don't/can't get in before the group rate closes you can use the code MYTIGB online to book at lower rates (but not as low as the group rate, and you'll have to pay the resort fee, but it still saves $50-$60/night).

I've got a great deal at Circus Circus and will be staying from Tuesday to Tuesday (28th to 5'th I believe). I have two Queen sized beds in the room and I don't need both.

Make sure if you do any gambling at all, you sign up for the players club in that casino. Some cards cover multiple casinos.If you go next door to The Mirage, the MGM/Mirage card covers 12 different casinos.The Bally's/Caesers total rewards card covers 12 more. My wife and I play video poker and slots the majority of the time and we can stay at almost any hotel on the strip for free. At the very least they will offer seriously discounted rooms. They are really hurting for business right now and you never know if you might wanna go back someday. Have fun everyone.

Oh and there's nothing wrong with Treasure Island as someone posted here. I've seen their rooms-very nice, good casino, places to eat and a train that connects to The Mirage.
