Shep from the Three Stooges?

This should be HILARIOUS!

Guess who's getting fired tomorrow, just in time for the weekend!

What the fark am I watching?!?!?!

A concise and truthful segment on Fox farking News?

The world is ending.

What is it about people getting together to collectively bargain for better pay and benefits that just scares the everloving shiat out of republicans? It's almost like they want to go back to the days of robber barons.

2011-02-24 11:23:49 AM
Fox News Report with Shepard Smith is the only show worth watching on Fox News.

/Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace is on regular Fox

one of walkers heros is Ronnie R. He wants to be seen as union busting just like the gimper so his Kock Brother masters will throw him a bone.

Farkin douchebag.

Was an interesting point...am sure the Koch brothers now have a new member of their hit list

Unions are one way to close the wealth gap. That scares the GOP funders.

2011-02-24 11:26:11 AM
Right, we should all have to do with less these days, except for government unions.

They are still sore about the Gilded Age ending.

Juan Williams is a whore for using his old NPR position to leverage himself as a more credible journalist/score a job at Fox, but at least he's a whore with decent politics.

I hate people who give "their guy" a pass on character and ethics issues just because they like the guy's politics.

Looking at you everyone I've known who listens to Alex Jones.

2011-02-24 11:26:39 AM
Geez. Now that sensible and "Red Eye" ratings-like Shepard Smith and Black Colmes have spoken out, the tide will surely turn.

Whatever it is, presumably it also explains why Republicans think a business counts as a person and can donate as much as they want to politics for free speech and that's American Democracy but when a group of individual people get together to donate money for a cause, that's bad socialist sekrit muzlim communism.

You're in favor of letting the tax cuts on the very wealthiest expire then?

Cause, they've been doing better than everyone for decades now.

That was the most reasonable conversation discussing each side I think I could imagined. Woah.

They agreed to "doing with less" you moron. The only point of contention left is removal of collective bargaining, which has nothing to do with the budget. By agreeing to everything but that, the unions really de-clawed Walker's argument that this was totally about the budget and exposed it as political union busting to make his donors happy.

Its because everyone has an anecdote or two about crappy service at a gov't office or heard how someone makes bank in their gov't job.

The real kick in the ass is that most of these unions operate under VERY different conditions but are being equally villified. The idea that you can still be "in" a union but bargain on nothing but wages and ONLY up to a maximum of inflationary rates is just idiotic - I'm reminded of that quote from Henry Ford about having a Model T in any color.... as long as its black.

Sheppard Smith continues to be the only journalist on Fox News.

2011-02-24 11:31:08 AM
Shepard Smith is the guy Fox News hides behind when it comes to calls of bias in their format.

The entire lineup with the exception of Fox News are far right but that one guy is who they use as a shield.

Nah. Shep's the only anchor they have that gives them credibility when they claim to be an actual news organization. (Must piss him off to no end that a retard like Beck makes more than him)

As for Williams, I give 60-percent odds that he stays on. Even FNC isn't dumb enough to fire one of their few minorities for not toeing the GOP line.

Because somehow if we deregulate everything and let the market decide what's best for the citizens, everything will be just peachy for everyone.

Or something.

It's like a black hole just opened up. I can't believe what I just saw. Perhaps the producers know that the public, for once, actually understands the problem at hand and is getting in front of an inevitable failure by the WI govorner?

Well, yeah... but how the hell is he allowed to say this? AND have another Fox News personality sit there and agree with him. It's just crazy. Especially since it's one thing to say that he believes in the right of people to exercise collective bargaining rights. It's a whole farking other thing to say not only that... but... BUT!... this is a political ploy for the WI GOP to try and break the unions that support the Dems purely for political gain.

I've never watched Shep Smith before, and I'm struck immediately by the lack of raised voices. Every time I've watched FNN the voices are way too excited or agitated... just like conservative talk radio. I just don't like shouting or lecturing.

This was nice.

Absolutely. Just look at the banking sector. We deregulated them and they're one of the most rock-solid and stable....oh wait.

If you just picture "the invisible hand of the market" as a rich guy's fist headed straight for your ass it makes much more sense.

Those were some GOOD TIMES back then. You could use words like "chink" and "dago" and no one would think badly of you. Women knew their place. Men wore hats and three-piece business suits everywhere. Gas was plentiful and cheap.

It's about coersion and freedom... Why should I have to join a union if I want to be a public school teacher? Especially when I have no say in what my union dues are going to be used for?.. and secondly, the union will force me to be a mediocre teacher.. which is why our public school system is failing in this country.

Except that the unions have offered to do with much less but that still wasn't enough for Mr Walker. Answer this: What's the point of a union with no collective bargaining rights?

Yeah, unions are freaking awesome. I mean, what's not to love about the idea of the mafia controlling the government? What's not to love about the fact that teachers unions have thoroughly and utterly destroyed our education process? And union leadership, I mean, they certainly have nothing more than the best interests of their membership at heart, right? No ulterior motives there whatsoever.

To characterize unions as nothing more than a group of individuals banding together for the sake of their collective good is to be delusional to the extreme.
