I used to work for a think tank in NYC where some of our executive staff were deeply involved with the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. Just seeing those smug motherfarkers and their counterparts look so chummy with each other in the office without any apparent sense of duty made my blood boil. I had to deal with their expense reports as part of my job as well... you can tell why they have no personal interest in resolving the situation whatsoever.

I'm glad to see the US is keeping up with our legacy of not interfering with other people's countries. What would the world think of us if we started, say, giving billions and billions or dollars to one of these parties instead of letting them talk it out? Our credibility comes from our ability to take the high road and not send in "advisors" or "peace-keeping armies".

How much money would we save if we cut the cord and let Israel fend for themselves. Granted they buy military equipment from us but the money they use is from military grants giving to them by the US. So basically they buy military items made with US taxpayers money with US taxpayers money, we get to buy them twice.

That's it. Just a veto a few more of these and the Israelis will have settled so much of the West Bank that it will be too late to set up an independent Palestine. That is, f it's not too late already.
