John cleaner clearly killed Johnson but he didn't see it coming.

The frail 80-year-old's death hours after drinking the fluid in July 2009 was easily avoidable,

But the death that he would have had anyways a day or two later was not easily avoidable. Unless you classify getting into a time machine and going back a decade or two in his life as easy.

/the guy was ready for room temperature gig

I know as we get older we lose taste buds, but this is ridiculous.

If I was a blind 80 year old, suffering from dementia, i'd drink anything that tasted like sweet, sweet death.

Shouldn't someone with that level of problem be in a nursing home rather than a care home in the first place?

And before someone comes in blaming this on "socialised medicine", the care home in question appears to be privately owned and operated.

My grandmother lost a layer of skin on her ass to a stroke rehabilitation center the one night my mother didn't sleep there because an obviously mouth breathing idiot was told to change her and nobody checked up on it.

I'm thinking brief moent of clarity allowed for the oldster to do the right thing for themself. 80, blind and suffering from dementia? Who wants to live like that and who wants to inflict that on their loved ones?

Well, he had to drink something--he was feeling a little flushed!

/*ducks flying toilet plungers*

That's horrible.

Unfortunatly, its basically also human error. Probably cleaning all the rooms, accidently left the bottle behind.
