As usual media does not wait for confirmation.
2003-07-22 12:33:14 PM
in other news, still no WMD...
2003-07-22 12:33:17 PM
Hooray for assassination. Wait, I mean targeted killing, of course.
2003-07-22 12:33:24 PM
Sure they have...
2003-07-22 12:33:58 PM
Well we can only hope we got them this time,,, Or next time.
2003-07-22 12:34:06 PM
Dammit, mine didn't make it.

"Tuday may be have been the last for Uday."
2003-07-22 12:34:09 PM
come on...... royal flush!

2003-07-22 12:34:17 PM
Good riddance to bad rubbish...
2003-07-22 12:34:22 PM
Not Uday and Qusay? They were such nice people; truer paragons of virtue have never been born.
2003-07-22 12:35:18 PM
Hopefully this is the beginning of the end of the resistance.

This could be the climax on this conflict's arc.
2003-07-22 12:35:33 PM
Sounds familiar.........

"Saddam's sons may have been killed"

and I "may have" won the publishers clearing house sweepstakes.
2003-07-22 12:35:59 PM
OMG another flamewar over an UNSUPPORTED RUMOR (oxymoron ?) ! Again, it's ONLY SPECULATION !! Can we at least get stories out of Iraq that are supported by facts for a change ? Oh yeah we do; the deaths of more U.S. soldiers every day. Those stories are definitely factual.
2003-07-22 12:36:20 PM
Also, Osama bin Laden was there too. So was the boogeyman.
2003-07-22 12:36:26 PM
Pump up the bass, Qusay!
2003-07-22 12:37:07 PM
Who-Dey & Pus-say?
2003-07-22 12:37:40 PM
Any US soldiers killed today?
2003-07-22 12:37:51 PM
Yes! I finally got a stinkin' story posted!

Yeah, it's not confirmed yet but the Pentagon sounds a lot surer of this than the other bogus "Saddam is dead" stories. We shall see.
2003-07-22 12:38:01 PM
In other news, WOLF!
2003-07-22 12:38:13 PM
Dear Sadam:

[image from too old to be available]
2003-07-22 12:38:14 PM
Saddam Hussein's sons are dead,
doo-dah, doo-dah,
if you believe the media,
all the doo-dah-day.

2003-07-22 12:38:16 PM
Yes there was a U.S. Soldier killed today!
2003-07-22 12:38:40 PM
Out of all the various news pages I've read (ABC, Fox, MSNBC, CNN, Sky, BBC), the BBC was the LAST to report on this, and their reporting was the most skeptical and negative. They quote an "eye witness" (who could have been a soldier or some homeless begger on the street) as saying there were American casualties. I swear, the BBC reporters masturbate furiously every time they get to report an injured or dead American soldier. *coughAGENDAcough*
2003-07-22 12:38:51 PM
Also, there pockets were full of the WMD's
2003-07-22 12:39:13 PM
Well, that would justify the continued occupation. And, as always, I remind you that when enough "terrorists" have died, everybody who died on 9-11 will return from the grave and live a normal life in their American homes. After that, if we kill another unknown amount of "terrorists," all the soldiers that were killed in Iraq will come back. Of course, I mean our soldiers, not the other godless heathens who died.
2003-07-22 12:39:16 PM
Man, you shold read the propaganda about Uday. What a nutjob.

Nope, this one isn't yours. Sorry.
2003-07-22 12:39:28 PM
Don't care if it's his sons or not. More dead bad guys = good news.
2003-07-22 12:39:30 PM
i wonder if the pentagon is as sure as they were over the patriot missles. that one took years to be exposed as a fraud.
2003-07-22 12:39:39 PM
re: no WMD
we still haven't found Osama Bin Laden either: does that mean he never existed?

and unfortunately enough, no confirmation means that it probably isn't them. if it was uday and qusai, rummy would be on msnbc in about 30 minutes. if the white house doesn't issue a statement, and only deflects questions with 'waiting for dna results' then it isn't them.

we've played this game before.
2003-07-22 12:39:54 PM
i call bullshiat...come on, who's with me?
2003-07-22 12:39:58 PM
yea yea yea...and Saddam may have been killed like 15 times by now too
2003-07-22 12:40:21 PM
This is like trying to genetically identify which cow the steak came from on my bar-b-que. Not impossible, but probably too much effort. Bust 'em up, spread the ashes, go home.
2003-07-22 12:40:27 PM
Groan, I've heard this one before, tell me another...
2003-07-22 12:40:32 PM
Can't Drew just disable comments for these threads? it's just going to make a flamewar

Oh well, i'll throw some fuel on the fire - Bush is more evil than Saddam, Clinton inhaled, and Metallica is the greatest band ever

You may have killed me, but my five o'clock shadow will live on forever.
2003-07-22 12:40:58 PM
oh, they'll find WMD's either saddam's our the cia's, but we have to wait until we get a little closer to election time. enjoy the suspense. its a grand production.
2003-07-22 12:41:13 PM
Auckum Okay, now I'm confused/ticked. That's the exact link with the exact headline I submitted. The story was received and put into the queue.

2003-07-22 12:41:24 PM
I thought they died in that restaurant. Or was that just some innocent waiters and chefs?
2003-07-22 12:41:24 PM
Good riddance to bad rodents.
2003-07-22 12:41:28 PM
U.S. out of Iraq!

We demand the U.S. be punished for its criminal acts, and the legitimate government of Iraq be restored.
2003-07-22 12:41:52 PM
Looking at that pic of Uday, I can't help but notice what a serious case of ass-chin he has.
2003-07-22 12:41:56 PM
Show me a body, I'll get interested. Show me some Nuclear/Biological/Chemical, I'll be amazed.

Any US soldiers killed today?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, my condolences to the families.

I check the CBC site for news everyday and I've noticed a pattern, every morning they report at least 1 dead from ambushes etc.
