That is my cat! Too cool! Where did you find the pic? When I posted it many months ago, I said, "this is what I see when I try and view Caturday."

Now a cat pic I found on the nets...

I hope you know how important being *puced* or *pucified* is to the people on Caturday. It's something we all aspire to...

Thank you so much.

/I had prints of mine when you "puced" Keanu. Picture in my living room and prints sent to friends and family

onearmedninja: I know I'm late to Caturday, but maybe I can still get a question answered. My cat won't cover his mess in the litter box. He will scratch the wall beside it and the floor around it, but he won't scratch the litter. Anyone have any helpful ideas. Also if it makes a difference he's a male about 9 months old. This started when he was 4 or 5 months old though.

one of my guys does that too (did that) but i just showed my how to cover it and he got the idea. i'm sue that it has to do with them both going outside for the most part and only using the box when i'm asleep or away for a few hours and they are inside. most of the time, when i'm asleep, they'll wake me up.

another thing that helps is to have a very large box (mine is way bigger than the 1 1/2 size milk crates) and to keep it really clean.

Thanks PuceGuardian!
Thanks everyone for the welcome wishes, already looking forward to next caturday! Going to see if I can determine if Ed is only deaf on one side or both. Love him either way, even though he seems to get lost and can't find us, so I have to go let him see me then he follows...I can't call him like Ein.

Llois: Sorry for my absence this weekend (in case anyone noticed). I've been busy running around being social and responsible and other stuff. In Cat News... I went to the local humane society today for a cat fix and fell in love with Beauty...
(crappy iPod pic)

She didn't come home with me today, but I think I'm resigned to taking allergy pills for the rest of my life because I want a cat really badly. I've got a lot of prep work to do to make my house cat-friendly, but I'm guessing I'll have a cat before the snow's melted (probably in mid-August some time...)

Anyone who has cats and allergies have a recommendation for OTC allergy pills?

Aww, what a pretty girl.

I flip between Claratin and Zyrtec. One a day, non-drowsy and you can also usually find a store brand of Claratin for about half the price of the name brand.

Wow, 99 comments after I turned in last nite. You doin' good. The Voldecat thread further up the main pg isn't doing too badly either.
Meant to type something to Ohnonotfloridaagain for bringing the various Catarina pix. Cute when young, beautiful now.
Also tnx Salem Witch for trying to evict your earworm via captioning; some pix I find I didn't seem to have.
Also the various Valentine cats, most if not all saved for use next yr.

Young Stripe, one of the Aug2009 Gang of 5, as a monorail cat. His sister Cali does a better one of these on the top of the couch, but I still need to catch her there. Also could stand to catch any of them in "squirrel" pose, which hasn't yet been managed either.

Yeah, so I was flipping through Caturday on my sister's fancy iPad, with my 5 year old niece in my lap. I tried to scroll really fast past the tennis match. I was then asked what was on that sign. I said "No dogs pooping in the grass." "Can we look at that picture again?" "No, we are looking at kitties, not dogs pooping."

Can you tell I don't have kids??

muggsy kitty... for those who have been around for a long time you may remember me frantically trying to find her a new forever home about a year and a half ago. as you can see she ended up in a great place and is doing quite well. and she is very much in love with her human (and human very much in love back).

Heh! It's more fun to teach 'em all this stuff then give 'em back. Just don't answer the phone for a couple of days afterward.

My wife's family refers to us as Evil Uncle Jim and Evil Aunt Alexis. The kids LOVE US! (and there are tons of them. Her family spawns like rabbits.) We teach them all kinds of neat stuff.

My brother in law would probably kill me.

"But why can't the doggie poop in the grass?" "Because not everyone likes doggies pooping in their grass." "Please, can we look at that picture again?" "No. Don't you want another cupcake??"

That could work, but I'm actually at their house. So there would be immediate repercussions. I am known as "Anti" or "Anti-Heather." The brother in law doesn't like this too much either.

Llois: Anyone who has cats and allergies have a recommendation for OTC allergy pills?

I had really bad allergies when I was a kid. I was allergic to my dog and couldn't even be near a cat for an hour without my eyes getting puffy, watery, and would get hives if a cat came within 10 feet of me. I went through the series of desensitization shots. It was a shot a week. I remember that I used to go every Thursday after school. They helped immensely. Not only can I go near a cat now, I can live with them. I still need Benedryl on occasion and if I get scratched or bitten while playing with the cats, I still get hives but a little Benedryl Cream takes care of those. I highly recommend Benedryl, however, they do make me tired. Good Luck. The kitty you posted a page back is a cutie!

Claritin for days, Benadryl for nights. Zyrtec makes me too sleepy for either, that's for when you have a whole weekend off and don't mind spending it sleeping on the cat's schedule.

Oh, and if your doctor writes you a prescription for OTC allergy meds, you can use your flexible/health savings account to buy them. Considering they tend to go on sale after Christmas, one can stock up and get a year's worth at once sometimes.

Could've envotenated the last one, shouldn't do this one because it's a towel a chorus mate gave me a couple of yrs ago. I did manage to snap Cali as a monorail cat, but haven't moved the pix out of my camera card yet. After lunch, most likely, for that.
Tnx Lefttefticle for recent pic of Muggsy & fluffy pic of Shiva. Tnx reddot for update on Weird Cat sign bids, & yobbery for the following:

Yeah, I'm no longer allowed to be alone with my grandkids. It seems there was an incident where I had the three in my car with me. I'm one of those people that yells in traffic and I am in possession of a vocabulary that has caused sailors to blush and drill instructors to take notes.

After the one hour drive in rush hour traffic to get the grandkids over to their mom, they spent the next 20 minutes repeating all the words they learned from gramma.

The same problem manifested itself when I was driving to one of the remote offices and a PC coordinator decided to rope me into a conference call. The call was with a rep from technology standards, the coordinator, my manager, my department director, the senior VP for the department and the executive VP for the division of the company. I provided up front the disclaimer that I was in traffic and could not be held responsible for any "excited utterances" that may occur.

About 10 minutes into the call, some asshole in a jacked-up F250 4x4 decided he didn't need to obey the laws of physics - specifically the one about two bodies not being able to inhabit the same space. What was heard on the call: "You gotdamned cawksarking idiot! I hope your mom gives you VD for your birthday!"

At that point - utter silence for 15 seconds, until my manager came on and said "Hey Marie? You a'right?"

"Yeah, just got run off 35 by a moron and I'm having to merge onto the service road."

"What exit?"

"Between Market Center and Inwood."

"You get hit?"

"Nope, but the guy behind me probably needs new upholstery."

"Folks, do we need Marie on the call or can she pay attention to the road?"

Last time I had to do a conference call out of the office. The two other women on the call did email me about my language, the exec VP emailed me and asked if he could get pointers on emergency driving next time I was out his way.

I hope so too. Pretty girl.
