I just want to say that I've been to Iowa and the people I met there didn't seem retarded at all. The people in this video do not represent all Iowans.

If you were to just show this to me completely without context or preamble, I would have to assume it was some sort of trollish satire/parody. I knew some people in western Iowa, back in the early 90s, when I had a girlfriend from there. Most of them seemed to be relatively intelligent people. Except for the Missouri Synod Lutheran friend who went off the deep end. And the fact that they seemed to think Judy Blume books were worthy of being banned. Maybe those were harbingers of a deeper derp.
