Earguy: LoadShark: Nipple thread anyone?

I'm here, and able to post Random Pretty GirlsTM. Though if the game is good, and we want to watch the ads too, I may not be posting much unless the game turns into a blowout.

Anybody want to help me post some quality, Super-Bowl-worthy photos?

YES PLEASE

Local news here in Pittsburgh is saying anywhere from 6000-9000 fans are being denied entrance to the stadium.

Apparently cowboys stadium built some annexes to house the people, but they weren't completed to code so the people can't sit in them.

I'd hate to see what happens when you tell 9000 drunk steeler fans they won't get to watch the game they payed $1000s for.

I put the over/under on 2.5 dead.

Three Crooked Squirrels: list of past 10 super bowl quarterbacks

I like the idea behind your thinking, but how many of the first timers were against other first time quarterbacks? I think Brees might be the only one on that list that actually beat a previous winner, when Brees wasn't already a winner himself.

just so you know, atdhe.me is not where they moved to. The new site is:
http://atdhenet.tv/

I'm not sure who's running atdhe.me but it's not the same group as atdhenet.tv, so it might be more scammy than the original. Said that, atdhenet.tv is still having problems keeping the site updated.

I'm kinda indifferent to football -- and, miraculously, somehow haven't been expelled from Wisconsin -- but I'm still curious about something. Hopefully someone who's paying more attention can answer this for me:

I remember watching the beginning of Super Bowl XXXII, GB's last appearance, and thought it was remarkable that the media was crowning John Elway king even before the damn game started and I found that really annoying.

Now, this year I've heard that GB is a slight favorite, but other than that has one team been getting more love from the press than the other?? Just curious, thanks.

Which led to a lot of "experience blah blah blah" thinking by the talking heads...and then they did the exact same thing this year, without any reference to their espousing the same shiat last year. Highly amusing.

rickythepenguin: Torgo_of_Manos: I see your point but I think the fact that the Steelers have 25 players on their roster vs the Packer's 2. Considering that this is the "big" game with all the trappings that entails has to mean something.

Three Crooked Squirrels: Just take last year's game as an example. Saints had almost no experience, Colts had a ton. Again, I have no good comprehensive study to cite, but I don't think it means anything at all.

exactly. and the year before Arizona had nobody other than Kurt and myabe, you know, the backup long snapper or some shiat with prior SB experience.

most overrated "storyline" about the game.

I have a good study that details SB experience.

It was researched & filed in Buffalo in the early 90s.
