Oh yaeh! The kids today are *way* into Liza Minnelli.

2001-10-17 01:21:15 PM
The way he looks now, they probably thought they were turning down LaToya.

2001-10-17 01:21:49 PM
Gee, you think maybe the powers that be in the music industry promised to destroy the careers of anyone found associating with a known pedophile? Maybe?

2001-10-17 01:22:04 PM
I don't think that that ?man? is human anymore...

2001-10-17 01:22:22 PM
slow-handclapped....great word

2001-10-17 01:23:20 PM
I used to love Michael Jackson. Back when his music was good, you know back when he was black.

2001-10-17 01:24:47 PM
From the article:

"Jackson suffered another setback on Sunday when his new record, You Rock My World, was beaten by Kylie Minogue to the No 1 spot in the UK charts."

Did I miss something? When did we travel back in time to 1987?

Tom Petty and Reba McIntyre are "B-list talent"? Does this mean Broccoli...uh...Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake are "A-list"?

Gawd, I feel old...

2001-10-17 01:28:01 PM
Wait...Tom Petty "B" list? Britney Spears "A" list?

That can not be a talent list.

I have some bad news for everyone.
Michael Jacksons music was never good.

2001-10-17 01:29:11 PM
fark him

2001-10-17 01:31:55 PM
I'm suprised he's made it this far. After all of the weirdness that he's become, I figured (was hoping) he'd just recluse out on us and fade away.

Now he's back and freakier than ever...of course nobody thinks he's cool anymore.....what the hell was he thinking. He has so much money, he probably created his own reality where he is the king....I hope this shatters it.

Who cares about him anyways....I've got Anthrax to think about now.

2001-10-17 01:33:55 PM
Yeah, Anthrax's music kicked @ss!

2001-10-17 01:35:45 PM
I saw his new craptacular video the other day. It looked like he was ripping himself off by copying the old Smooth Criminal vid from his past. Way to be original.

2001-10-17 01:37:03 PM
If Michael stuck to MUSIC, he'd be as big as ever.

You guys are stupid, there is nothing strange about somebody that brings a chimpanzee as a date to the Grammy's.

2001-10-17 01:39:14 PM
Grammy + chimp = GIMP

2001-10-17 01:40:58 PM
I think that in the scheme of things, the other "artists" are just being petty and self important.

2001-10-17 01:41:57 PM
I stand corrected,
That brilliant comeback from Dullfarker
has changed my mind.
Michael Jackson rocks.
"I want to rock with you" kicks ass.
The Clash suck.

2001-10-17 01:46:35 PM
Have you seen his new video with Brando and a smattering of other stars. He does a big 'ol crotch grab in one of the dance scenes. I think I would've steered him away from that if I was the director. He's a freak

2001-10-17 01:46:57 PM
Drew Farker has been here one day, and already I predict he will vanish in about 10 minutes.

Maybe it's just one of my neurotic issues, but it sure annoys the heck out of me when I go to a commercial website and the page title was left as "Untitile Document". Oh yeah, those bookmark well.

2001-10-17 01:47:59 PM
I wonder if Jacko got the joke when Fulham fans sang "I'm forever blowing bubbles" at him...

On the subject of FiddyKiddlers, Gary Glitter's got a new album out soon... start queueing now folks.

2001-10-17 01:48:51 PM
is there actually a handler somewhere telling michael that he's "ripe for a come-back"?? how could a person look themselves in the mirror after that?

2001-10-17 01:52:06 PM
I know how these stars feel. I personally cannot commit to reading this article, therefore taking interest in Michael's plight.

2001-10-17 01:54:19 PM
Only in America can a poor black child grow up to be a rich white woman. :)

2001-10-17 01:56:44 PM
I do feel kind of sorry for him, just because those people turned their backs on him. He really did almost all of the things that happened to him, to himself. If he had stayed the way he was, not got so wierd, stayed black, and moved on with the times, he would still be huge.

2001-10-17 01:58:35 PM
Woody Allen showed up. That's something, isn't it?

2001-10-17 02:00:51 PM
How do you know when it's time for bed at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch?

uhh something to do with being a pedophile?

I just hope Destiny's Child gets the same reception when thier fans figure out thier music is created on a TRS-80.
Say My Name (repeat duration of song)
I'm a Survivor (repeat duration of song)

Destiny's Child blows. Really nice bodies, though

2001-10-17 02:11:52 PM
I heard he wanted to participate in this Saturday's concert in N.Y..
Paul McCartney was the one that organized the show.
McCartney is pissed at Jackson for selling Beatles songs(Jackson owns the publishing rites to the entire Beatles catalog)into advertising.
The question I have is this:
Who is the most powerful man in music?
Get on your knees Michael and bow before Sir Paul !

2001-10-17 02:14:30 PM
"The audience at Madison Square Garden began whispering among themselves when they noticed Jackson sharing a VIP box with 12-year-old country star Billy Gilmore and former child actor Macaulay Culkin during performances by other stars. "

Great idea, Michael. Hang out with your new "interest" who's 12 years old, and have Macauly on the side so he can watch. No freakin' wonder people were whispering among themselves.

2001-10-17 02:15:34 PM
Say Say Say, wasn't it Paul who sold them to Michael in the first place? Besides Isn't Paul dead anyway?

2001-10-17 02:20:18 PM
"I used to love Michael Jackson. Back when his music was good, you know back when he was black."

Dude michael jackson was not black you must be looking at farked photoshops from the past. :)

2001-10-17 02:21:04 PM
He only owns the publishing rights to the songs which he bought from the from the record company that ripped the Beatles off years ago (a record company wouldn't rip off people, would they)?
All the same, i get your point. Jackson should go do another Pepsi commercial, preferably with a lot of pyrotechnics.

2001-10-17 02:21:45 PM
I guarantee you all of those people he lined up were people who he saw/met socially somewhere (industry function, awards show or whatever). He probably asked each one individually if they would like to work together in the future. Of course they say yes. Then jackson issues a press release. Mike, just do it on your own. Was Beyonce's caterwauling really gonna help the song out? Oooh... ya really needed Britney's little girl whisper-singing voice?

2001-10-17 02:21:54 PM
Typical FARK behavior.

Tear down any BLACK man who made something of himself.

First everybody disses The Juice, now the King of Pop. What's next is everybody going to start ripping on Suge Knight because they, too, are jealous of his successes?

2001-10-17 02:22:17 PM
Max Load,
I forget the legalities involved but Paul did not directly sell the publishing rites to freakshow.
Paul is very much alive and will have a new release"Driving Rain" out on 11/13/2001.
Will those old '60's era rumors about Paul being dead ever cease to exist?

2001-10-17 02:23:00 PM
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

2001-10-17 02:28:12 PM
Micheal Jackson reminds me of Skeletor.
He should have quit after Thriller.

2001-10-17 02:29:25 PM
This is going to end with MJ lying on a bed whispering "Rosebud" at a tiny snow crystal before he dies.

At least they stopped calling him Jacko. I hated that - so tabloid.

2001-10-17 02:29:32 PM
Jacko outbid Sir Paul for the songs. Paul tried to get the other (remaining) Beatles to pitch-in, but all George and Ringo could come up with was a pot and some piss to put in it.
So, Micheal got the rights to the old beatles tunes and "Revolution" became the signature of Nike's new campaign add.
Sir Paul is now a billionair. He wasn't quite so rich when all this was going on.

2001-10-17 02:29:56 PM
Tom Petty is NOT "b-list" talent.

2001-10-17 02:33:12 PM
And MJ is NOT "black" :)

Seriously, lighten up on the indignation a little bit. We're beating on the guy because he happens to be a wacko pedophile rapist who ran out of originality a good decade or so ago. The guy could be green and he'd still take a beating.

(If you don't believe me, come back five years from now when the guy actually is green)

2001-10-17 02:33:15 PM
DCHBAND, your right, but he shouldn't be performing with the nut job in any case.
