So the GOP was going to restrict federal funding of baby murder to a more limited set of conditions, but now they've decided to loosen it up a bit. In other words, the GOP has just expanded their opinion of when federal tax dollars can be used to pay for baby murder.

Makes you wonder if ain't quite genuine baby murder after all...

Good job caving to liberal demands, so-called-Representatives.

You'll burn in hell.

Or they just saved a talking point they'll use in 2012. Because the pro-life people will fall for it every time, and all they need is the vote.

2012: They would have stopped all the murders of innocent babies if only the damned Democrats hadn't made it completely impossible for them to do so!

Book it. Done.

No means yes for the GOP.

1/10.

Looks like those idiots realized that 52% of the people that vote for them could technically be women who might be upset that they'd be forced to carry a rapist's child. The more you know.

You know, a real Pro-Lifer wouldn't allow for any exceptions whatsoever. That human baby fetus deserves to live regardless of the circumstances under which it was conceived. It's not the human baby fetus' fault that it is a rape baby or incest baby or whatever. Why are Pro-Lifers so wiling to sacrifice the lives of human baby fetuses for political correctness?

Weren't the Republicans going to work on the economy and jobs and shiat? Why do you imbeciles always get sidetracked with religious bullshiat? Abortion has no national significance, except to sweaty religious types. Move the fark on to business.

Pro-life policy proposal, or elaborate GOP trolling in an attempt to get as many Blazing Saddles threads on Fark in as small of a time-frame as possible?

I read the other day that abortion doesn't even make it on the list of current concerns for americans. This is the second big abortion-related effort by the GOP since their "WE LUV JOBS" election rhetoric. They are fumbling so hard right now.

2011-02-03 01:44:12 PM
In my state, women can never rape by legal definition.

I kinda wish they would change that.

meat0918: So are they going to focus on JOBS now?

Any day now... right after they tackle the real problems in this country like funding for NRP and Planned Parenthood.

Besides, empty gestures and meaningless votes are far more useful to the GOP than actually working on stuff that needs fixing.

I'm sure my wife will be glad to know that the Republicans still consider her rape incident a real rape incident.

Mr Rusty Shackleford: Weren't the Republicans going to work on the economy and jobs and shiat?

You're looking at this wrong. Abortion is a economic stimulus. The more demand for abortions the more jobs created at Planned Parenthood and whatnot. Also, the fewer unwanted babies who will grow up into leeches on society.

So you see, pro-Abortion is a win-win for the economy.

"The word forcible will be replaced with the original language from the Hyde Amendment," Jeff Sagnip, spokesman for bill sponsor Chris Smith (R-N.J.), said.

Wait, so what is the point of this bill? It is my understanding there are already rules against using federal funds for abortion (except rape & incest). What the hell does this bill do, other than say they're going to keep doing what they've been doing? That's useful.

WHAR JOBS, REPUBLICANS? WHAR?

Why not? It's not as if their voting base is ever going to notice or care. Hell, some of them support these wastes of time. There's no down side for them.

Life begins at conception and every unborn child should be protected!

Well, except those unborn children whose mothers weren't sluts who should've kept their damn legs closed. The unborn children of mothers who don't deserved to be punished for their promiscuity can be scooped out with a serving fork for all I care.

And that's why the Tea Party needed to form.
