It makes me sad that these people may breed.

FirstNationalBastard: It makes me sad that these people may breed.

Who? The mods for greenlighting this? Then yes, I agree.

2011-02-02 05:00:50 PM
meh

2011-02-02 05:05:48 PM
Cake is an E-minus, as for the picture I believe a rabid one-legged monkey with no eyes could take a better photo.

2011-02-02 05:46:17 PM
I've seen worst cakes.

"Superman."

2011-02-02 05:46:28 PM
More to the point: why bother?

2011-02-02 05:46:29 PM
Actually, I was hoping for something more... extravagant...

2011-02-02 05:46:31 PM
Crappiest best cake ever.

2011-02-02 05:47:14 PM
The cake needed a "magic pencil"

2011-02-02 05:49:21 PM
Should've just been a huge flaming pile of cash.

/still a huge waste of cash

2011-02-02 05:51:11 PM
I'm sick of seeing cakes decorated with fondant.

/shakes tiny fists at Cake Boss, Ace of Cakes, etc

2011-02-02 05:51:21 PM
I am disappoint. It's just a standard cake with painting and accessories, though I like the concept.

If I'm ever allowed to get married, I can't wait to have a video-game-themed wedding and cake.

/nerdy loser in case that wasn't clear

2011-02-02 05:51:26 PM
Just wait until the groom discovers his wife is two-face

jimmyego: Cake is an E-minus

meh...satisfactory at best.

Should've been purple, green, black and yellow instead of white. Shape the bottom tier like one of the tires on the Batpod. Batdarts along with the cards stuck in the cake. A miniature spotlight with the bat signal shining onto the top tier, which is shaped like a guard tower at Arkham.

I think I've been watching too much Cake Boss.

All I can say from looking at their wedding site is -- WTF. Talk about a mismatched couple on attractiveness. She is hot and he is not. He's a wannabe celebrity with a few acting credits, basically "extras" Link

Good for him, I guess. I give it 2 years.

Very apropos for a wedding.

That is the best Dark Knight inspired wedding cake that I have seen today. Of course, it is the only one I have seen today (or any day for that matter). But, it is also a horrific piece of crap.

2011-02-02 05:56:42 PM
Sort of like "Best picture of a car accident you'll see all day"?

2011-02-02 05:56:49 PM
This cake is pretty plain. I was expecting something a bit more... elaborate.

The picture is the best photo that I have seen of a Dark Knight cake. Especially since I have looked at no other photos today.

2011-02-02 06:00:07 PM
That is pretty farking lame.

Look at the save the date link: http://kevkage.com/wedding.html

What a douche this guy is for making this day all about him. The UFC style invite, and CD of old wrestler walk-in entrances and video game soundtrack songs makes me think of how I would've imagined a wedding... when I was 11. I'm pretty sure this is not how she imagined her day. And if it was her idea, then she's the idiot.

THIS. Butter cream FTW!

What is the over/under on the number of tattoos and piercings the bride and groom each have?

"The cake is a lie"

There. I've done my part. Now to move on.

2011-02-02 06:03:54 PM
I had to meet the wife halfway - she said she didn't want to make the cake look like it was for a ten year old boy's birthday party.

So...traditional wedding cake...Joker wrecks it. The detail was pretty awesome. There's better pictures, but they're all on Facebook, so, you can't see them.

Also, we had a Triforce ice sculpture.

Why is it I have that movie on iTunes, yet I still watched it on tv the other day? I kept asking myself that while watching the entire farking movie.

Mock26: But, it is also a horrific piece of crap.

Right on par with the movie, then.

I'm still wondering how many Starbucks paychecks it took to cover the cost of this cake.

Maybe the cake is filled with Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Diazepam, Temazepam, Alprazolam, and Doxylamine, too.

That, plus the fact she's preggo in the invite pic. I wonder if they managed to fit all their guests into the double wide.

Hey, man - I liked the cake. Belated congratulations and good job showing some imagination.

So is the reboot going to be like the dark night comic series from the 80's? Because that would be cool.

Kudos on the cake, it's nothing eye-poppingly amazing but it's a cool motif and done well. And fark the haters - it's easy to tell who in here's getting laid and who's having a nightly hatejerk to cake shows.

Mine was better. Had customs done of the wife and I defending the top tier of the cake from a zombie infestation climbing up from lower tiers. The wife was cool with this and in fact decided she wanted to have a walk behind lawn mower for her weapon. The artist put half a zombie under the mower and blood spatter all over her dress, it was awesome.

....need to find a pic

Haha no, I am not. Kids TV is a ruthless business, though. My guess is they caved to the pressure.

Awesome cake. I like creative weddings. People take the entire thing too seriously. Save the date was fun, too.

Not everybody wants farie Princess Diana weddings. I was going to go steampunk, myself, and the SO's said if he ever gets married, he'd want the procession to come in to the MST3K love theme.

/why yes, I AM a nerdy loser.

2011-02-02 06:46:13 PM
Now there's one classy wedding cake.

Classy!
