Volcanic lightning is pretty sweet looking. I actually have the first one (bigger version) as my current wallpaper. happened during a volcanic eruption in Iceland.

Do you have a link to said wallpaper so I can blatantly steal it from you?

Yes, you need these if you want to summon Mothra:

Pics linked in this thread are great.

This volcano has been erupting all week - three explosive eruptions just yesterday. Ash is falling on some towns, the news last night showed some 70cm wide rock fell 7 km from the mouth. The magma dome is still there inside the mouth crater, so they expect similar eruptions.

There's people evacuated from some areas but no serious damage as far as the news was reporting - mainly just people struggling to get rid of ash, and the farmers who have to clear ash away from their crops (or throw away the outer leaves of cabbages entirely, which costs them money).

Also "shaking of the air" has broken windows quite far away. There is no earth shaking that far away, just a low beating of the air (that people can't hear) and the windows crack and blow out.

I thought it was this Japanese eruption.

Mothra, O Mothra,
if we were to call for help,
over time, over sea,
like a wave you'd come,
our guardian angel.

Mothra, O Mothra,
of forgotten kindness,
and ruined spirits,
we pray for the people's
spirit as we sing
this song of love.
