Odd. Of all the things that seem recession-proof, the ability to get a boner must be right up there.

Maybe there's a generic version out now? I can't remember whether the patent's expired.

From Some Farking Article...

Pfizer will lose its patent for Viagra on March 27, 2012, according to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Maybe they're preparing for when the market goes soft, and sales go limp.

What a bunch of dicks! Don't they know how hard jobs are to come by these days? Not like you see a bunch of new businesses just popping up. They should just wait out this soft market until confidence rises again.

It is pulling back from allergy and respiratory medicines, the areas the site near Sandwich focuses on.

-Boo! Better asthma meds is always a good thing.

Will those who are laid off lose their houses and be forced to pitch tents?

They've had generics for a while, it's not difficult to make. Not sure of the legality regarding patent in the US but it's very easy to buy online.

I doubt that the "Ch3ap vgi1agra" that I keep getting emails about is anything more than a placebo.

Maybe stuff from the spam email is, but they are manufacturing generics in other countries and it does work. The patent has already run out in some places so it's not even illegal for them to make it, even if it is for you to buy it online

Are they too vein to accept help from the stimulus package? I'm not trying to give them tips, but that could get them headed in the right derection. It's a phallusy to think that this crisis is insurmountable.

Pfizer is also laying off more than 1,000 here in Connecticut.

Boy, I'm sure glad that town council ran all those people out of their homes so Pfizer could make a new mega-plant!

Remind me again why this is covered by any Gov. Insurance?

Picky Eater Syndrome is up for an official classification. Does that mean I'll get steak and premium ice cream if I go on Medicaid/Medicare?

Because A. Pfizer and the pill lobby spend countless millions lobbying so can they make countless billions bribing I mean donating to ever federal and local official that could effect their bottom line.

B. Picky eater disorder is like a lot things a personality issue not a mental problem but we can drug kids and adult into a zombie like normalcy.

As a former Pfizer/Parke-Davis employee I say "Fark you" to Pfizer.
Worked with a lot of good people in Sandwich after the PD merger.
I notice Pfizer tends to screw over the more productive sites (closure in Ann Arbor [Lipitor] and now Sandwich [Viagra]) but manage to keep shiatholes like Groton open.
