There is literally nothing a politician can do to please the teabaggers.

Well, certainly nothing that won't get them branded certifiably insane.

Can you deliver all that while fellating a real-doll in the visage of Ronald Reagan? That just might work.

I LOVE Scott Brown. Not because of his politics but because of the lulz whenever he votes for a dem supported piece of legislation. The seething, sputtering, venom-filled hatred that people post on his FB page is awesome!!

There's a fair number of people who often vote Republican who do like his politics. It's a refreshing change from the choruses of derp from the tea partiers and the Progressives.

Besides....

I honestly do not know why the teabaggers thought he was one of them. There is nothing in his tenure in state politics and nothing in his campaign rhetoric that would suggest that he would be a full blown bagger.

I guess they dug him cause he drove a pick-up truck. Obscure?

Why would tea partiers get bent over START? Wouldn't reducing our nuclear arsenal also reduce expenditures related to maintaining said arsenal? Besides I thought they were focused on domestic affairs.

Same reason the Krazy Kos Kiddies latched onto Lieutenant DanJim Webb, and all sorts of Blue Dogs in the House in 2006.

There is nothing in his tenure in state politics and nothing in his campaign rhetoric that would suggest that he would be a full blown bagger.

He promised to vote against the HCR bill -- his reasons for doing so weren't all that important.

But Mr. Wheeler said he and his group's conservative backers are now disillusioned, citing Mr. Brown's vote to ratify the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (New START) with Russia, which the group sharply opposed.

"New START is something he should have been able to vote against," Mr. Wheeler said.

Why would these heroic TEA Party patriots be against putting the breaks on wasteful government spending?

Some people (paranoid nuts) think arms reduction is a "trick" by the Russians that will leave us defenseless to a Red Dawn scenario.

Samuel Beale's Ghost: I LOVE Scott Brown.

Too bad he's going down in 2012. Michael Capuano, my Congressman, will mostly likely be running against him. He came in 2nd in the primary to Coakley. He hasn't declared himself a candidate, but has gives the typical "I'm exploring the options" non-answer when asked.

If he runs, Brown is a goner. He's incredibly popular in his district, shoots from the hip, and is a very effective campaigner, unlike the Democratic disaster Martha Coakley.

Yes, but it gets even worse since they are now apparently asking Taco Bell for a refund because the taco beef didn't taste like delicious filet mignon.

Okay but are we sure this is why the National Republican Trust is against him now? Because while I wouldn't put it past them, it seems a little crazy, even for them.

And he is attracting moderates in droves and won Ted Kennedy's seat, this is exactly the kind of guy the Republicans should be propping up. He would have been a superstar in the 80s and now he is a traitorous dog to them.

During the primary campaign, I was shocked at how badly Coakley came off. In the debates between the four Dem candidates, IMHO, she came third behind Capuano and Khazei (I voted for Khazei, he seemed the sanest of the bunch). I was baffled as to why she polled so much stronger than Capuano, the only thing she had going for her was name recognition because she had a state wide office.

If Capuano had won the primary, he certainly would not have made the same mistakes Coakley did in her run against Brown.

If you're against New Start, you're a complete moron who's opinion should be ignored on all matters.
