Some years ago we had quite a strange accident which filled the newspapers. Apparently a woman stumbled, fell and died. Not to strange, but the cause of dead was the Bic-pen sticking in her skull through her eyes..
Of course every one thought it was a freak accident that she held her pen and fell on it, but an accident nonetheless.
Untill her 20 year old son bragged to his friends that he had found a 100% method to get away with murder: he had killed his mother by shooting the pen via a home made cross bow in her eyes.
That raised some eyebrowes, especially since it was proven he had built a cross bow and had been target practising. Stupid fark was arrested and charged with murder.
End of story?
No, scientist tried to recreate the accident (nice job) but didn't succeed at all. So, the tale ends: farkface got released and taken in for some severe physicological treatment, scientists got back to their boring job and people wondered still whether he did it or not...

This happens a lot more to certain demographics in England than you think. A recent poll of all the people in England with good teeth found that they had both swallowed their toothbrushes at least once in the past.

I went to that university and I visited that hopsital many times.
I know the teacher training school they have there and I'm not surprised that one of them did this. Not the sort of people I'd want teaching my kids.

So this woman doesn't have a gag reflex, and it makes the papers. I bet SOMEONE'S phone is going to be ringing off the hook...

In my opinion it's possible that she was trying to make herself vomit. A skinny girl at my highschool had to have a toothbrush removed twice after using it to induce vomiting. Something to consider.

Yeah, what the fark is up with this sudden urge for Brits to have healthy teeth? Oh yeah, Westernisation. I forgot that everyone emulates what Americans do because we are somehow role models for the rest of the planet.

By the way, Mayo... Although "penis" is Latin, it has been considered an English word for long enough that it's acceptable to make the plural using English rules: "penises". If you want to be pedantic about it, you may also use the Latin plural, "penes". "Peni" would only be the correct plural of "penus".
