To be fair, there are some similarities between Fundamentalists, Jihadists, and Zionists...

They're exactly the same people, just slightly different base texts. There is a universal battle between good and evil; they are the chosen people, the vanguard of good; anyone who doesn't believe exactly as they do is aligned with the universal evil; defeating non-believers and forcing everyone to believe in Christianity/Islam/Judaism is what the universal deity wants; coercion, death, and destruction are fine as long as it means getting closer to the goal of eliminating all non-believers.

Came here to say this.

I guess it's only ok to tell other people what to do when it's in the name of YOUR God. Other gods (or the same God with a different name) need not apply.

this is the problem with balance in news. if something is a fact, there is no way to balance it. if the sun is shining, they don't say, "some claim sun shining"

In all fairness IF muslim terrorists infiltrated the republican party and controlled it to serve their own agenda, they would pretty much be doing exactly what the republican party has been doing for ten years.

That's so wrong it's just sad, but it shows you how the drive-by liberal mainstream media has brainwashed America.

It is very, very rare for Jews to be conservative. Ever read the JEW York Times? Liberal! And Jewish! Barbra Streisand? JEW! John Stewart? JEW! Joe Lieberman... well, he votes Republican so he's pretty much an honorary Christian anyway. You'd think the Jews would know better, what with Hitler being a liberal and all (you may not know this, but the Nazis called themselves National SOCIALISTS).

And how can you even say muslims are conservative? They hate America and would do anything to destroy everything America stands for - OF COURSE they're liberal! THAT'S THE DEFINITION OF LIBERAL!!!

I am not saying that radical muslins have infiltrated certain parts of the American conservative movement, but I would just like to point out some surprising coincidences:

- Radical Muslims hate rights for homosexuals and women.
- Radical Muslims oppose the concept of secular government.
- Radical Muslims seek to ban all drugs including alcohol.
- Radical Muslims do not believe in western scientific concepts such Evolution or Relativity.
- Radical Muslims favor a 'tough on crime' policy.
- Radical Muslims support the death penalty and cruel and unusual punishment.
- ...

I could go on, but it seems pretty clear to me that something fishy is going on here. There are 'Secret Muslims' all around us openly planing the overthrow of the government. Something needs to be done.

Jihadists are Fundamentalists.

Zionists can be as well, depending on what definition you are using...

Actually, Jihadists came from Islamic Fundamentalist groundings, but in this case I was referring to Christian Fundamentalists--as I did in that article as well, and as Aslan did too. Jihadists are separate from the usual band of Fundamentalists, in that they reject a great many Fundamentalist teachings, and more importantly, they question a great many Fatwa. They insist on personal interpretations of the Koran, even if that puts them clearly on the other side of issues than the clergy--especially on the grounds of killing other Muslims.

Which is certainly where things get dicey, since Jihadists have killed far more Muslims than they have killed Christians or Jews.

Perhaps if Christianity had never gone through reformation and there were no major sects of Christianity that didn't take the entire bible as the direct word of god I could understand the mistake. It would still be very wrong given the core tenets of each faith, but I could understand it.
