No. Not worth it. I went through it so the rest of you don't have to, and here's my review: it sucks. The pictures are uninteresting and the commentary is vapid. (You don't know why Joba Chamberlain might be in Nebraska? Really?)

#1 isn't even a sports person.

Rome was going off big time on Lawrence Maroney's hair yesterday.

Tony Van Morrison: Rome was going off big time on Lawrence Maroney's hair yesterday.

You just admitted you listen to Rome.

Shame on you.

Who the hell is Jeremy Green?

(*checks Google*)

Really? 3 minutes for the slide show plus 10 seconds to look that up == 3 minutes 10 seconds I'll never get back.

/Really worthless

The photos/people/cases themselves weren't enough to make this thing worthwhile, but having to read the captions made me want to slit my wrists. After reading a dozen I finally gave up and just skimmed the photos. I was a better man a few minutes ago...

fake wrestling is a sport?

Holy hell, Eddie Guerrerro weighed 250 at some point? And was 5'6"? I think the cop who entered that needed new glasses.

By the way, this is no longer a slideshow. Yay!

The ESPN show, so I think I only deserve one kick in the nuts.

Having the same name as sports figure makes you a sports figure?

Y'know a college student working in media communications could write a grad essay on how Jim Rome slowly became the type of sports talk host he despised when he first started.

One of the early slides made it sound like half the list was comprised of pro wrestlers; I only remember seeing maybe 4 or 5. Just about as many baseball and football people, perhaps even more.

oryx: Having the same name as sports figure makes you a sports figure?

I guess being offered a job by a pro sports franchise counts...

NOPE.

you deserve at least 3 kicks in the nuts

1 for listening to/watching Jim Rome
2 for admitting it in public
3 for trying to get out of 2 kicks in the nuts

I always wondered what happened to Jeremy Green. He was all over ESPNs podcasts and then just disappeared. Didn't know he had to take a seat over there after a bong hit.

pretty much the only funny one was the sunburned coach.

how many times can the author say that it was a "hilarious" picture?
