Why should the hard working, productive people pay taxes? Why should they be punished for their success?

What is with Black Men not paying their bills.

It begs the question: If you've got skills, then pay bills.

We have a TV tuned to the news at work on all the time, and his commercial comes up about every break. We have a hypothesis, that he is in fact a lizard person and the bearded visage you see is merely a husk to house his true form.

Exhibit A: His unblinking, soulless eyes.

Exhibit B: He doesn't move his head or body at all, as if he is stalking prey.

Exhibit C: His beard that covers his entire neck and connects his chest hair to his facial hair. This actually isn't a beard but the crest of a bearded dragon protruding through his body husk

Exhibit D: He eats children.

Pretty much everything on Chappelle's Show was gold. Which is why he burned out but still, legacy of excellence.

I forgot which show it was, Mad tv or SNL, that parodied those (I always thought it was a local Florida business) commercials. In most of the commercials the back of the guy's head is barely in frame so the sketch mentioned the reason they did this was because he had a twin attached to him from his head. It was pretty funny/obscure.

I recently finished season 1 of Chappelle's Show and I'm now about halfway through season 2. It's not as funny as people seem to remember.

The laugh to groan ratio is similar to SNL.

Further evidence for better withholding procedures for the sudden-rich. They don't understand where money comes from or how taxes work and most have absolute shiat resources for advice on how to manage their money.

Withholding is hard if you're not getting a paycheck. Say he gets $100k for showing up at the opening of some club. Whose responsibility is making withholding work on that?

I watched a few episodes recently and have to disagree. Obviously I was being a bit hyperbolic with my original statement, but I find Chappelle's Show to be much more consistent than SNL.

/Not that I dislike SNL. Duds come with the territory.

Maybe I'm watching them too close together (one per day). Perhaps if I did one a week like it originally aired I'd change my mind...
