DanZero: I SAID HEADLINES THAT YELL BECAUSE THE PERSON IS DEAF OR BLIND OR BECAUSE ANNE FRANK BOMBED GERMANY IN PEARL HARBOR ARE STUPID SUBBY
zunkus: Yep I've got tinnitus also. It certainly does get annoying but as someone mentioned you do kinda get used to it. That said, if there was a lost LOW cost remedy I'd be all for it.
Zik-Zak: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
High School History: I second the motion that the headline was rather lame. IT was way too easy and not very clever. Rehashing old Fark cliches does not satiate the audience. Its safe, but not very witty. The only thing worse could be a groan inducing "scientists create self aware robot, will find Sarah Conner"....
Miss Nova: Also it bothers me to know that something in my head isn't working properly.
WelldeadLink: Miss Nova: Also it bothers me to know that something in my head isn't working properly.A lot of people here have that problem.
improvius: This (new window) is pretty close to what my tinnitus sounds like.
Miss Nova: WelldeadLink: Miss Nova: Also it bothers me to know that something in my head isn't working properly.A lot of people here have that problem.I should have seen that coming.
SLOBODAN: cochlear Meniere's Disease.
LittleSmitty: Meh, I just crank up the volume a little more to drown out the ringing.
SLOBODAN: improvius: This (new window) is pretty close to what my tinnitus sounds like.Mine sounds different form the EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE thing but is still just as annoying to deal with. I got mine from cochlear Meniere's Disease. I will ask my ear surgeon if this will work. God i hope so.This is how mine sounds...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKQMY6x4e5U&feature=related
dervish16108: This is good news ... for William Shatner.
thespindrifter: Leishu: Mine's about two octaves higher than that (Yes. Ouch) and tends to sit at just slightly below the volume of normal conversation. It sounds exactly like what you just described. The worst part? it comes and goes. Some days it's low enough I don't even notice, and rooms seem too quiet; right now I can hear it above the stereo in the other room. It's not enough to drive me suicidal-crazy, but it is *very* annoying.
Jgok: Mine likely comes from too many head injuries and/or playing bass for years when I was younger, according to my doctors.
PepperFreak: This news is too important for snarky headlines./eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Vertdang: Great now that people are talking about it I can't help but focus on it. Mine is about the same frequency of a CRT TV when it's on. annoying as hell in a quiet room or while swimming./underlined for why I hate you all right now.
bill4935: Jgok:Mine likely comes from too many head injuries and/or playing bass for years when I was younger, according to my doctors.Isn't it funny how so many head injury patients become bass players. Why do you suppose that is?/c'mon, you threw it right over the plate.
Mister Peejay: What bugs me is that my right ear (the "loudest" one) has a ring like a television tube, but my left ear is a lower pitch, and they make an imperfect chord.
